To ensure your convenience, below is the information you need about our podiatry office, including our hours, location, appointment scheduling and insurance acceptance. If, for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment or will be delayed, please call as soon as possible. Charges may be incurred for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment time.
In the case of a foot or ankle injury, many people immediately turn to their family physician for help. If the injury appears to be more serious or painful, a trip to the emergency room may instead be the inclined course of action. While these choices are understandable, many people don't recognize that the podiatrist or podiatric surgeon is the most qualified medical professional available to treat a foot or ankle injury or condition.
Foot and Ankle Associates are available to treat foot and ankle ailments such as diabetic foot care, ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, warts and painful calluses. Our practice specializes in general foot care. Ankle sprains are very common injuries with more than 3 million suffered each year in the US.
During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. We accept most insurances. List of current prescriptions and/or over-the-counter medication, including dose and frequency. You are responsible for co-payments or charges that are not covered by your insurance.
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued the Final Rule implementing the prohibition of discrimination under Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) of 2010. The Final Rule, Nondiscrimination in Health Programs and Activities, will help to advance equity and reduce health disparities by protecting some of the populations that have been most vulnerable to discrimination in the health care context.

Dr. Mike was recommended by a co-worker for his demeanor and professionalism. I had been dealing with repeated ingrown toe nails that my GP told me was routine for a GP to handle and cheaper. After having had bunionectamies as a teen, I had some suspicion that maybe there was a better way to handle my situation. Dr. Mike is the solution from what I can tell at my first appointment! He didn't just say your toe is irritated or just wait until it gets infected, he gave me ideas on how to ease the nails into proper place and if it didn't work would still have other options vs repeatedly ripping whole

Dr. Michael C Saraydarian performed surgery for a foot fracture that refused to heal. His professionalism and skills are above five stars. He was always available through the six-week recovery. His office staff are always friendly and listen to what you have to say. I highly recommend their services!

I am really disappointed. I hoped for help getting out of pain, and instead just got ripped off.
I had a 15 minute appointment to discuss what appeared to be plantar fasciitis. A technician then came into the room and strapped a foam night splint to my foot and told me to use it every night for 2 weeks.
I asked at the billing desk how much the item cost. She said she couldn't tell me , that I could call my insurance company to find out.
I asked her repeatedly "what is the actual cost of this item?", and she said she couldn't tell me. 3 weeks later when I got the bill the first line item is Night

Foot & Ankle have helped me immensely. I have no pain from my feet any more and i have lost weight being able to take my daily walk again. Dr Mike also recommended me for other preventative services outside the practice for health needs. Staff members are always friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend Dr Mike and staff.

I've been very happy with Foot & Ankle Associates. I've seen two doctors at this facility, and both have been excellent! The doctors really know their stuff, are very caring, and take their time to explain everything. I had successful ankle surgery through Foot & Ankle, so have been to the office often over this past year. I have consistently found the staff to be very friendly and efficient, and if you have questions or concerns, they get back to you in a very reasonable time. If you have any foot or ankle issues, I highly recommend Foot & Ankle Associates of Maine.
