I implement effective psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding among patients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the patient and caretaker alike.

But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results. If you're looking for quality Private Counseling sessions with a licensed Psychologist that cares, then you've come to the right place. I guide my patients every step of the way and implement various methods to help them develop new attitudes towards all of life's most complex matters.

By nature, I am empathic, attentive, and curious; I have a profound appreciation and respect for people and their life stories.
If you suffer from anxiety, you might also have scary physical symptoms like sweating, trembling, or accelerated heartbeat. Many suffer from anxiety disorders also feel a deep sense of loneliness and isolation. For some sufferers, anxiety accompanies depression. Although it's normal for everyone to have some kind of anxiety occasionally, it becomes a serious problem when your anxiety is persistent enough to interfere with your daily life.
Anger is a healthy emotion in response to emotional distress. When anger is too intense, frequent, or expressed in unhealthy ways, such as through aggression and hostility, it can start negatively affecting work, relationships, and overall wellbeing. Untreated anger can lead to violence, bouts of rage, "seeing red", and a general sense of losing control.
Codependent behavior is often learned in unhealthy family environments. It is characterized by being in a relationship that is very one-sided and emotionally abusive and/or manipulative. If you find yourself on the receiving end of such a relationship, you may have grown up in a family where feelings were repressed and not communicated or talked about.
Depression has a serious impact on your relationships, your self-esteem, and your entire life. It often grows more intense if you don't reach out for help. There are many possible causes of depression, and there are often multiple contributing factors. The answer to what's at the root of your depression may be complex, but that doesn't mean depression isn't treatable.
