An LSP is licensed to manage testing and render clean up decisions at hazardous waste disposal sites. PE is a specialized type of civil engineer focused on water and wastewater engineering as well as the treatment and control of pollution. Registered Sanitarians are able to inspect facilities to determine their suitability for supporting human occupancy.
Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) are risk assessments conducted to evaluate the probability that environmental conditions associated with a property might pose a significant financial liability to property owners or operators.
ESA protocols have been developed jointly by the environmental and financial industries to meet part of the due diligence requirements and landowner liability protections of the Federal Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) and M.G.L. 21E.

Environmental media (whether air, water, or soil) are investigated to determine their chemical contents for five principal reasons: (1)To verify the presence or absence of suspected contaminants; (2)To determine whether contaminants are present at hazardous concentrations or otherwise above applicable State, Federal or local standards; (3) To evaluate the extent and magnitude of contaminant distributions; (4) To monitor changes in contaminant concentration and distribution; and (5) To provide a basis for estimating the cost of remediating hazards associated with the presence of hazardous substances.
Our highly accurate indoor and outdoor air quality testing equipment is able to detect Volatile Organic (VOC) and Air Phase Petroleum Hydrocarbon (APH) at sub-part-per-billion levels and enables us to tell you in real time, informally, if there is anything you need to be concerned about.

We provide full environmental services for property developers and contractors. This includes environmental site assessments, site testing, identifying hazardous waste liability exposure, and obtaining proper environmental permits. We also conduct pre-demolition walk-throughs and manage waste disposal while controlling for pollutants during development.

If I could give Clean Properties a 10 star rating I would. What a great company with which to work. Marcia Berger and her team are excellent. I was in a panic with a conflict of what size my septic was vs the Title 5 report and error in town records conflict. It was NY's eve and Marcia took my call and remedied the situation with a very professional report. I cannot tell you how she alleviated my stress and fears. If you need a talented Sanitarium engineer or other environmental clean up or related assist Clean Properties should be top of your list.
