I went for a gel polish on my toes and dip powder on my nails. The gel polish was fine but I had the worst experience of my entire life for the dip powder. I normally do not write reviews but I was so upset because I spent so much money and this is not what I anticipated for. I came with a dip powder already on my nails so as he was taking it off he kept cutting my cuticles with the drilling machine, I jumped every time he did it so he knew he was hurting me but proceeded. My friend and I have been testing out new nail salons that we haven't been to before to try and find our new "go to" spot. We went on a Sunday afternoon so we called ahead to see if they had availability. They did, and we were sat right away for pedicures.
The salon was nice, pretty small. The staff was friendly and welcoming as we walked in. I was pregnant at the time and everyone was asking how I felt and questions about the baby and told me "good luck" on my way out.
The pedicure itself wasn't great for either of us. We both opted for the 2nd level pedicure

I went here for the first time yesterday. I picked a color and sat down. As she was doing my nails I noticed the color seemed off. She realized she selected the wrong color. Instead of fixing it, she decided to just put the correct powder on top. I understand mistakes happen, but it was how it was has handled that disappointed me. My nails were uneven and extremely bumpy. The two ladies just kept saying they looked great and so did the color. Did not take accountability or correct the error. I will not being going back.

First time I went, my nails were lifting soon after. But I tried it again with a different tech and was happy. Lynn’s work stays strong, so I’m choosing her each time now! Only advice I’d give is for them to honor appointments over walk ins. I always try to do appointments so businesses are prepared, but they tend to take walk ins when they’re already busy and at the same time as appointments so it either makes you wait, rush the job, or provide only limited services. Almost no point in setting an appointment.

I been to this nail salon three times and the third time will be my last. The older lady with Peter pan hair style did my nails and she used to work at the Sanford mall nail salon. Long story short, she accidentally used alchohol to remove my dip powder nail, which was previously done at the same place. When she realized what she did and time was running out because other customers are waiting to be services. She quickly took a small bowl and fill it with acetone and told me to soak my fingers in acetone for 4 minutes. Now it's been a little over a week, and the skin on the tip of my fingers

I have been going to Oviedo Nails Spa now for about 1 year. I had to switch nail technicians because my tech became pregnant and decided to stop working. However, I found Mi! Mi gives a phenomenal pedicure! She is thorough, and does not rush! My pedicures last for 3 weeks without chipping! The shop is always tidy, tools and spa tubs are clean. Highly recommend Mi and Oviedo Nails Spa!
Update 2/8/2019: Mi is no longer with Oviedo Nails Spa. They said she was pregnant as well...coincidence? I think not! It seems that any nail technician here that is good they let go because then the other techs

I gave this spa a try for a pedicure. Complete disappointment! A man did mine which I have no problem with. But he was talking to the tech beside him throughout the entire visit. He would actually stop working on me for several minutes to talk to her! Then I had some soreness on my big toe. It seemed like he was done and I pointed out where the soreness was. He ignored it completely. I'm not sure if he understood English but if he did, it was very unprofessional! I'll never go back.

I've been coming to oviedo nails for several years. After seven months of not being able to get a pedicure (injury), I was really looking forward to an enjoyable pre-vacation pedicure. Today's visit was far from it. The tech seemed more interested in getting it over with as quickly as possible. I wasn't offered any pedicure other than the basic, although i always upgrade to include the scrub. I got French polish. Unfortunately, since my big toe wasn't properly shaped, it looks lopsided. I wanted to take my mom out for a special afternoon of pampering. Her feet usually hurt her so she is particular about people touching her feet. Sara was wonderful! My mom loved her pedicure and was so happy that none of it hurt and it felt so good. The woman that did my pedicure was pretty good too. The place is comfortable, cool and clean!

I've been traveling to Sanford from Winter Springs to get my nails done and decided to try Oviedo Nails. It's been about 5 months now and the service/quality is not what I had hoped.
Firstly, although I don't expect them to know my name, each time I walk in it's like they are seeing me for the first time. I am greeted with"can I help you?" . I am assigned to whoever is available. Love this place. They appreciate your business. Friendly. Very good service. Our client Satisfaction is important to them. If something is wrong, speak up. They do not want you to feel bad.
Sanitary too! They use sterilized tools and spa tub liners for your pedi.

The powder dip gel is very light & thin leaving a n extremely natural look to your nails. Not thick. I like my nails to look and feel like mine. If I break one (rare), ONS makes the tip repair appear as natural and thin as my other own nails. The dip powder gel last longer too - 3 weeks normally

I went from having pink and whites for years and then decided to give my nails a break. I decided to start pampering myself more by treating myself to nails/pedicures again. In doing so I tried going to places closest to my house and have never found a place or nail technician that I was fond of or happy with. I'm a hairstylist so I've always had a problem with my nails lifting from being in water and chemicals all the time. When Kim does my nails I never have that problem and my nails always look great until I go back in for a fill in two weeks. Kim & Oviedo Nails Spas are the best

I searched everywhere throughout Orlando for the perfect nail tech and I finally found her! I am so picky about who does my nails and Kim is my go-to gal..She is an expert!! Her amazing talent combined with my wants allows me to be happy every time I go here. Everyone at this spa is so sweet, talented and accommodating! I picked this place because it was highly rated on Yelp so I used that to base my decision. However, it wasn't the best nail place I have been to. In fact, I didn't have the best experience due to a couple reasons. I guess part of the reason was I was pregnant and uncomfortable .... but I won't base my decision on that. I will base it on the fact that I got a pedicure and ended up bleeding TWICE when getting my toenails done. I NEVER bleed during pedicures.
