Mama Mia Pizzeria

We celebrated our kiddo’s Sweet 16 and it went perfectly! Everyone was soo helpful. I was nervous because this was the first dinner party I hosted. Reserving the table was so easy. The Manager introduced himself and advised who was going to assist us. The whole evening went smoothly and the food…Delicious!! Thank you Mama Mia’s!!

Excellent Christmas Eve meal! Fantastic service and food. Manicotti, Lasagna, Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, Shrimp Scampi, Pizza, Philly Cheese Steak,, Mozzarella Sticks and Fried Cauliflower! All amazing food! A little pricey but well worth it. Decor is comfortable and the ambiance is family oriented but also can be romantic.

I liked the ambience, the music, the food, and service. It was really good and I'll most def come back! 😀

Second time visit. A little busy but they had 1 table available for my buddy and I. Excellent waitress, so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak Calzone. Very, very good and alot bigger than I expected. Also the half sweet/half unsweetened tea was on point. Very good overall. Definitely recommend.

I dont recommend. Service was not bad but food needs to improve. 😔 Sauce tasted like it was from a can and the inside had no flavor. Pizza was a simple pepperoni and cheese and I was not happy with it. For what I paid I brought it home hoping my son will eat it.

I just love Mama Mia pizzeria, I think they have the best pizza in McAllen but the worst sangria ever haha, this time we tried the "Fun Guy" thin n crispy pizza and omg, delicious! It was amazing! We ordered the fried calamari, mozzarella sticks and stuffed shells too, everything was on point, hot, yummy and great as always. The service was amazing too, our waitress was so patience and tried her best for our party so yes, absolutely recommended!

Went for lunch and was not disappointed! The server suggested the calamari (which I never order at any Italian restaurant because it usually looks too fried or too small) and I loved it; I also ordered the chicken and shrimp fettuccine which was perfectly balanced for a sauce and noodle ratio. We weren't planning on it but we also ordered dessert and the moment that the server said tiramisu that's when I stopped them and said we'll have that. It is a very close thing to the actual tiramisu from Italy itself - it's super scrumptious and the texture is luxurious.

Everything was really good! We ordered the chicken ala florentia & Mama Mia deluxe pizzas, and the rigatoni bolognese & chicken picante pastas. We took it to go and it was still hot when we got home. And everything was packed well! It included cheese, peppers, bread and utensils. 👌🏻

Very good Pizza and is as good as I remember from back in the day! We are really happy that we stopped by. However, I would only recommend the pizza as the the Spaghetti and Meatballs was so so. Also, I'm very much the kind of person that would say that pizza tastes just as good cold (I know my wife thinks I'm weird) but for this type of pizza, I would suggest that you just finish it while it's hot.

My husband & I had been wanting to try Mama Mia's since I moved here 2 years ago & it just hadn't happened 'til today! The hostesses could have been more personable & inviting, but everything after that was fantastic! The ambiance & decor were both lovely. The music was fitting, although it could have been turned up a tad. Our waiter was great- very friendly, & we appreciated his attentive service. We tried the raspberry chipotle wings, which were excellent with their very flavorful ranch dressing- extremely hot temperature-wise, though, so careful you don't burn your finger in the sauce like I
