Services
We offer our lighting and a/v products as equipment rentals with or without delivery and setup, or as add-ons to our DJ services. If you are booking our DJ services, start by building your quote for the corresponding event type, and these services will show up as options towards the end of the quoting process.
Almost everything we own is available to rent, and if we don't have what you're looking for, we probably know someone who does! Equipment is available for pickup from our warehouse in Lombard, IL and we offer local delivery service starting at $75 round trip. Our online store carries most equipment needed to provide sound, lighting, and a/v for events expecting up to a few thousand guests.
If we don't have what you need in stock or listed on our website, just give us a quick phone call or email requesting a specialty quote. Although our technicians are based in the Chicagoland area, we are available for travel, and have a network of vendors throughout the country where we can source equipment for both local and out-of-state events.

DJ’d an event, using So Prime’s rental gear. Not only is their system incredibly easy to book with, but the equipment worked perfectly and they even took the time to show me how everything worked, and made sure I had EVERYTHING needed for a successful gig. HIGHLY recommend So Prime for DJ’s, musicians, or anyone throwing an event that needs that last bit of gear. Will definitely be using them again!!

I am a bartender that has worked many different parties/weddings/events. I’ve worked a few of the parties that this company has DJ’d. THEY ARE AWESOME! No matter the crowd, they always have everyone up dancing. I’ve heard them play everything from 2000s hip hop to Punjabi. I cannot say enough about this company and their DJs. Great company that plays great music tailored to their crowd! The guests always have a great time!

Our wedding planner recommended So Prime Entertainment for our open air photobooth, and we're incredibly happy we listened to her advice!
Chris was an absolute delight to work with - he was friendly and responsive and gave us exactly what we wanted. Our photobooth was not due to open until around 9 pm but Chris was there to set up before the venue… even opened. He facilitated the booth the entire time and made sure guests added their picture to our guest book. The price for the photobooth was extremely reasonable compared to other vendors; well worth the money!

I had the pleasure of working with Justin at SoPrime for a wedding we had both been hired for. He was extremely helpful to me as a videographer and not only did he allow me to set up my recorder to his soundboard, he also started the recorder when it needed to be started. He is extremely knowledgable when it comes to his equipment and to the… wedding itself. As a videographer it's important to capture moments such as the dance floor which he kept alive at all times. He knows how to read the crowd and get them on the dance floor. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. Thank you Justin
