This place is consistently 2-3x more expensive than you would pay if you went somewhere else. I took a small package to ship and they quoted me $9.60. I sent the identical package for $4.XX the month before. When I asked why the price doubled, they couldn’t explain. I went across to the post office, walked right up to the window and paid $4.15 with tracking. Not sure why mountain postal quoted me $9.60 for usps and usps quoted me $4.15. This place is a ripoff. When I told the owner that her prices are ridiculous she was visibility upset and said I was being disrespect because she got called out

Great service at a great price. I was visiting my brother and needed something sent home I couldn't take on the plane. They were really helpful and much cheaper than the place I use at home. Wish they had one back in Vegas! If I ever need something shipped in Tahoe again, this will be my go to place.

I'm a Tahoe Local and I live within walking distance of this business.. I have patronized this business occasionally in the past I have never been impressed, I have walked out in disgust in past over rude customer service of persons in line ahead of me. Today I patronized this business out of necessity for notary service. I found their so called customer service sub standard and their prices exceedingly excessive for such a simple one page signature required document.

I travel a lot. Used a lot of post offices and small town postal services. This review is written with that in mind. I would pay triple what Mtn Postal charges, because they provide excellent products and services. The staff is attentive to their customers, and since COVID they have met the needs of SLT with 5-star service. On top of all that, they seem busier than ever with libraries closed. Their copy and computer equipment always works and if you don't know how to operate it they go above and beyond to help you achieve whatever goal you walked in with. What more can you ask for?

My husband and I went up to Lake Tahoe to celebrate our anniversary and stayed in a hotel in S. shore. We got all the way home, a 3 1/2 hour drive, and realized we had left my duffle bag full of electronics and other important things. Needless to say, I was very upset. I called the hotel and they found my bag and advised me of Mountain Pack Postal Pack and Ship. I called them and spoke to Bob and arranged for him to retrieve my bag of goodies pack and ship it to me. I was on vacation in Lake Tahoe and I bought a fragile small statue while I was there that I needed to ship home. I went to mountain postal and they sent it out for me, impeccably packed to the point that it should have never broken. Well it did. I called mountain postal and spoke with Tanya who immediately filed a complaint with fed ex. I was eventually reimbursed by fed ex for what I paid for the item. Thank you Tanya for coming through for me, it shows you truly care about your customers! Best wishes!
