Dr. Kaufman completed his pre-med studies at I.C.C and Marycrest University, and his graduate studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic. He graduated from Palmer College with Honors in research. He is a member of the Illinois Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association Sports Council, Chi Rho Theta Research Honor Society, and a Certified member of the Motion Palpation Institute.

Since 1991, Dr. Timothy Kaufman has had experience as a Sports Injury Prevention Consultant. He has been "Team Doctor" for the Metamora Redbirds since 1995, and was the Official Team Chiropractor for the Peoria Rivermen Hockey Team from 1999-2013, he helps team members stay in shape while enjoying the game.

Top notch service. Amazing people. First went for a shoulder related injury. Literally couldn’t even lift my arm past my ribs. I continued going to align other problem areas. My range of motion overall has improved so much thanks to these guys. They also are super helpful with gym related injuries and even offer advice and better tactics that help keep you from injuring yourself in the future.

My experience was top notch!! I called the office on a weekend (between Christmas and New Years!!); and Dr came in on a SUNDAY to see me! I was in so much pain that I could not even stand up, much less walk! The entire staff and all of the Doctors in this office have excellent bed side manners! I highly recommend them and it’s huge for me to be spoken to with respect and they were great at explaining to me what the issue was with my back - without using words I couldn’t understand. I’ve been to many chiropractors over the years and will definitely be returning if I need any attention while

I have been a patient of Dr. Kaufman for over 20 years. Started with TMJ, I had seen a doctor who wanted to break my jaw to fix it and I wanted no part of that so I went to see Dr. Kaufman and he said he could help by adjusting, no need to break. He worked wonders and I have continued chiropractic treatments on a monthly basis ever since. The funny thing is now it isn’t even for my jaw but for overall wellness! Recently, I had a fall and experienced whiplash and called right away, between adjustments, icing and muscle stimulation I was feeling better again in a short time.

I am so glad Kaufman Wellness Center was recommended to me when I was in pain and did not know who to call. Luckily, I had mentioned something to one of my coworkers ( whose last name was Kaufman), if she had any connection with Kaufman Wellness Center and she said Yes!!! That’s my Dad!! That’s all it took! The next day, I made a phone call and I got in the same day!! Dr. Kaufman was absolutely wonderful, and made my 1st visit very welcoming. Everything was explained well and I am confident this will help with my discomfort!!! The staff there was super sweet as well!!
