We were taking a week's vacation on MV, and were looking to rent bikes. Of the three places we checked out, this was our clear favorite. First, there was easy parking there in the middle of the day (unlike the place in the center of town). Second, they were total pros. I found the repair staff to be incredibly helpful.

This is the only bike shop on MV in my opinion. They have high quality carbon bikes, not the heavy clunkers the many other bike rental shops on MV have. Great rental experience from an owner who cares about the bike rental experience. I have rented from them over a ten year period when I have had the opportunity to be on island.

Overpriced and rude staff. They don't wear masks and are rude to customers.
Edit: The employee had a beard, that's all I can remember. I came in with a friend to get his helmet fixed. It is overpriced compared to Wheel Happy. At wheel happy, you can get a rack for the back of your bike for $40, at this place it would cost $60. Furthermore, there are so many bikes inside that you can't move around at all! Move bikes outside or put them upstairs!

My wife and I were recently on island from out of town, and I brought my Specialized Roubaix in to this shop to have something looked at. A tech named Chris adjusted several things on my bike right on the spot; he did a great job! They also had a really cool electric assist bike that he allowed me to test ride. It was quite a experience. This place has different levels of bikes for all levels of experience.

On my recent visit to EdgarTown on Martha's Vineyard I had the pleasure to demo the Specialized Turbo Como, which is the first electric pedal assist bicycle I have ever ridden. Coming to the island I quickly realized that getting around on a bicycle is more efficient and less stressful than driving a car. I do not ride as often as one should, but have ridden long distances in the past. When I ride I usually do at least 25 miles and do so with riders who are more experienced than me. This bike was an unexpected surprise to my stay, I was able to keep up with my group and push myself taking in consideration
