To maintain such a high review score is an extraordinary accomplishment. The Booking.com Guest Review Awards are our way to recognize and reward your dedication to ensuring every stay is a great stay. I travel extensively and staying in motels is part of the job. I found this motel quite unique, that it sets in a serene wooded area and in particular is clean.

The place was very clean and well tended to as was the swimming pool. The rooms had all the necessary amenities and everything worked. Strong WiFi. The staff were friendly and helpful.
My only major complaint is that on the final day of my stay there one of the staff came knocking at our door at 6:45am to confirm that we were checking out that day! This I felt was unsophisticated and distasteful.

What a nightmare. my room smells like someone smoked 20 packs of cigarettes in it. this place is where people come to die sad and alone. the inside of the room looks like nothings changed since we landed on the moon. Just when i thought my life couldnt get any worse i decided to stay here. The pool looks more like an outdoor toilet than a pool. I cant believe i saw people with children stay here im a grown man and im afraid to stay here. i checked the mattress in room 20 and im surprised to find only one stain. As im writing this my body is itchy probably bed bugs i dont know how they survived

A very surprising little motel very clean very up-to-date on the inside the bonus is I parked my car right in front of my room which I like to do. I didn't realize they even had breakfast in the morning which I should've known they did but it turned out to be very good really good biscuits and gravy. Strange thing is there was no meat no bacon, no sausage,.....I don't need anyways

This is a dated hotel that was probably remodeled in mid to late 90's. Situated along the Ohio Scenic Byway which is a nice drive through the country along IN 62. Located 7 mi from the Illinois state line. Rooms are clean with free breakfast. Rooms are quaint and clean with a few kitschy homey touches that only a locally run non franchise hotel can provide. Check in early as there isn't a late night attendant. Would recommend to family and friends of they were ever this way. Stayed here also based on recommendations from locals to stay away from the other hotel in town on the east side
