A second-generation mason, David Koppen began his career by working under his father, Charles Koppen - a local bricklayer and masonry contractor. He also learned some tricks of the trade from his uncle who was in the stucco business. David joined the Union Bricklayers Local #1, served an apprenticeship for three years and was taught by local craftsmen the correct methods of construction.
He worked for larger contractors like McGough, and OPUS, for a number of years on large commercial projects. David started his own business in 1983 and has been building a reputation for top-notch professional work ever since.
