This hostel was uniquely comfy and apropos to our visit to Page, AZ and its surroundings. Having the opportunity to regularly stay over many accommodations across and occasionally outside the country, and not a professional hotel reviewer by any means, and not a regular business traveler - but as a primarily pleasure and needs wanderer, I have developed as what I believe is my most concise method for scoring the worthiness of each hotel visited in accordance to personal criteria. My measures are as follows and the results are: 1) ease of access to and from public or private ground transportation

Definitely a good value. We enjoyed our stay.
This is in the "historic" district of Page AZ. Since the town was founded in the 1950s that would mean these were probably built in the 60s. There hadnt been much updating - most the structure was original except there was a new sink in the bathroom. Cosmetically it had newer paint and furniture and had been tastefully decorated. The blackout curtains worked great They have tried to make the back patio nice with seating and grills.
I think these were originally apartments so it is not just a hotel suite. It has a regular kitchen which was adequately

These are well-equipped and beautifully maintained apartments. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed, and we enjoyed having a comfortable living room for our family's stay. The beds were comfortable -- even the sleeper sofa!-- and we were impressed by how quiet it was, given its central location. Pushpa, the hostess, was friendly and helpful, and went out of her way to tell us about activities and restaurants in town. I would highly recommend this for family trips!

This place was absolutely perfect.
Anybody with more than 2 kids knows that traveling can be a challenge. To find a place like this, where we can stay, comfortably, and for a good price, is amazing.
So clean. Very well furnished (we cooked here two of the nights and used the grills that are outside), and just all around comfortable. Close walk to restaurants and a grocery store!
Thank you Pushpa and staff for making our stay wonderful. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in room 115! We stayed during the off season (March), so there weren't a whole lot of people in and out. The building and surrounding area are, what I like to call, "historic" so if you're expecting fancy, newly remodeled, this isn't it. But it was PERFECT for us. It is clean, quiet, and within 2-5 minutes of gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, and many hiking traiks and scenic views (Horseshoe Bend is literally 5 minutes away). There are SO many things to do in Page, and we felt Desert Canyon Inn is a perfect home base for vacation there. Would book again.
