The owner and founder of Hair By Shima's Beauty Salon LLC. I am a black owned business. I started doing hair as a little girl. Watching my mother do my sisters and my hair is what started my styling. Funny but true story I was about 6 years old when I told my younger sister to sit on the toilet so I could do her hair.
As you know I had no training but I was still going to do her hair, by the time I was finished not only was her hair cut but so was (our) pajamas, doll hair and I couldn't forget about my own hair. We looked fabulous until my mom walked in fussing what are you doing? That was the day I told myself I was going to do hair.

I absolutely love how she cuts my hair. First time I ever cut it to such a short length and she made me feel so comfortable with it. She is friendly, personable, and knows what she is doing. She has a private suite salon, which makes the experience even better. I 100% recommend her.

She’s wonderful!! She will make time to accommodate me. She’s also very good with small children! Great personality, great service, great prices and fast service. Not to mention she can do so many different styles, and she specializes in natural hair and can do so many different protective styles! I highly recommend her!
