GO LOCAL! We had this baker highly recommended. In the time of Covid, you're not supposed to have a cake to blow on & spread germs, so we bought sampler pack of 8 flavors of "Cake in a Jar" for a friend's birthday dinner.
Cons: If you can call any dessert a "con". ;P
The jars were unlabeled. I assume the pretty tulle&ribbon tops are color coded, but we were not given the key to the colors(!?), so it became a mystery adventure. The pink cotton candy-colored one was unanimously our least favorite, followed closely by a strong liquor-flavored chocolate.
