Nice and friendly office staff. Very professional and took care of us in a timely manner. Dr. Determan was awesome! My little one is usually very shy with new people but he instantly felt comfortable with the doctor due to his calm and gentle manner, he was also very good at explaining to my little one what his eye condition was. Dr. Determan & his staff are amazing! My family & I have been going there for years & will continue to. We're never made to feel like a number, the staff is patient & caring. Dr. D was wonderful - as a new patient in his office, he was kind, sympathetic to my numerous vision issues and worked patiently w/ me to find the right prescription. The optical folks were friendly and addressed all fitting issues quickly. I ended up purchasing three pairs of prescription sunglasses! I am happy w/ each pair although the cost was a bit high considering I have medical issues which should have provided the glasses w/ insurance coverage and a lower co-pay. I know this b/c the optics places I utilized in Phx NEVER charged me more than $200 for any pair of glasses even when I needed

Just picked out some frames and lenses from here and Optician Olga helped me with my frames and discussed in great detail my first pair of progressive lenses, she's so amazing and always so happy. Also Stephanie was my tech in the back and she is always so happy and amazing as well. Very professional and can't wait to see these ladies in another year.

Dr. D was absolutely great, no complaint on the actual eye exam. If it were for just that part, I'd give 5 stars. However, the front office ladies are extremely unpleasant and ruined the experience. They did not make my husband or I feel welcome at all. A lady named Olga was supposed to be helping us pick out glasses for my husband, and when she told us the price after insurance on the ones we had chosen, we kindly said "Okay, if you don't mind, we would like to discuss the price first before making a decision." Had my eye exam appt. today with Dr. Determan. Reception was very friendly, greeted me, then I signed in. I was called promptly by a tech to start the exam. Tech was also very friendly and explained what the purpose of each machine was. After a very short wait Dr. Determan came in to the exam room and he completed a thorough exam. Showed me my healthy eyeball scans and we had some friendly conversation about changes with eyesight once you go over the 40 year old hump!! Great doctor, very personable, answered all my questions. Another great appointment today with Dr. Determan. His staff is always so friendly. It's always nice to walk in to a business and be greeted with a smile from the front desk ladies and those smile continue to the exam room with the friendly techs and Dr. Determan super nice as always and then to end the visit opticians helped me pick the best glasses and get a great deal. Went for a pair of glasses with a prescription in hand and insurance.
Picked out frames for $282, of which my insurance would pay $230 plus 20% off over the $230. Lenses are covered in full, so only needed to add anti-reflective coating, with a $20 co-pay. So my final price should be, $41.60 for frames plus $20, equals 61.60 plus tax. They then inform me there is an additional $40 charge from the insurance for rimless glasses. I contacted Aetna to inquire why they do not cover a rimless frame, and they informed me they cover the cost of frames to $230 and lenses

I seriously had an amazing experience today at Yuma vision center. They didn't have anyone else waiting in front of me and had me in a room before I could Finnish my paperwork. Everyone went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed and left with a smile on my face.

Called 6/5/18. The soonest available appointment was July 31 for a returning customer. Went to a different doctor for exam yet still came back to purchase glasses. Customer service is absolutely horrible. Walked through at least 5 times looking at glasses. Not a single acknowledgement of, 'Hello,welcome,may I help you, Hi we'll be with you momentarily... nothing! This is the third time I've been here and it is always the same. I have only met one person who is happy and smiling her name is Stephanie. Love Dr.D he's great but his first point of contact is horrible.

Staff and Dr. Determan was Excellent. I was having vision issues, this was my 3rd stop. Brought my Eye Exam Prescription from Aiello. When the glasses came, I'm like I can't see. Well Dr Determan, reexamine my eyes, found out I had something wrong with my left eye. This was why I went to Aiello in the first place but nothing was ever said or done. Dr. Determan gave me drops, waited 6 weeks had me rechecked again..great improvment, remade my glasses.
