First, we used this agency to rent our property. Debbie Putz admittedly did not inspect our home before and after a long term renter stayed in our home. At least seven walls were damaged, including pictures and frames that had been hanging on the walls. When inquiring with the renter, Debbie actually amended the damage disclosure to accommodate the renter's version of the condition of our unit. The renter caused other damage within our home which we have not been reimbursed for to date.

Debbie Putz is the best. She was very accommodating when we first moved to Pinehurst. Super easy to work with. While renting if I ever needed anything, it was easy. A quick call to Debbie and she'd have a repair person out very fast. Highly recommend Village of Pinehurst Rentals! We are now preparing to move out and the process couldn't be simpler.

Perhaps there are some decent landlords, but if you're looking to rent longterm, avoid AT ALL COSTS any property owned by Dave and Kay Withers. I had leaks and cockroaches in my condo that they failed to fix, even after I told them about it AND after they came to inspect the condo. When my lease expired at the end of December, they fabricated a story about me having a pet in the condo so they could keep the $950 security deposit. Not only did they concoct this conspiracy, but they also doubled down on their excuse for not fixing the leaking roof, claiming to the property broker, Debbie, that they
