The Fyre-Tec window is a clean, precisely designed steel Horizontal Slide, Single Hung, Fixed Lite, Projected, or Casement window. Construction is roll formed steel sections with welded corners which make our products exceptionally strong and long-lasting. A Fire-Rated Window is an assembly that has proven to offer a certain degree of protection in the face of fire.
Meets or exceeds most Air Infiltration, Water Penetration, and Structural Performance Requirements. The Fyre-Tec window is a clean, precisely designed steel Horizontal Slide, Single Hung, Fixed Lite, Projected, or Casement window. Construction is roll formed steel sections with welded corners which make our products exceptionally strong and long-lasting.
The Fyre-Tec single hung window incorporates a heavier 4 inch deep frame which allows for smooth operation of the bottom sash to move up to open and allow air flow. This assembly offers 3/4 hour Underwriter's Laboratory rated protection. This larger single hung is designed and tested to be self-closing in the event of heat rise from nearby combustion.
The Fyre-Tec fixed lite (picture) windows offer 3/4 or 1-hour Underwriter's Laboratory rated protection. They are ideal for inclusion in rated corridors or exterior walls where it is essential to provide natural light or viewing capabilities but ventilation is not required. The fixed lites may be mulled with an operable Fyre-Tec window to provide a larger opening with greater daylight area as well as ventilation.
