Located in rural Vicksburg, Michigan, Key Blooms, Inc., was started by Andrew & Mary Kieboom in 1996. Andrew gained experience in West coast and Midwest greenhouses before setting up shop in Vicksburg. Key Blooms serves both the wholesale and retail bedding plant business, with over two acres of greenhouses of annuals, perennials, vegetables, baskets, and combination planters.
The retail store, Key Blooms Country Gardens, open from mid-April until the end of June, offers a large variety of quality plants that appeal to the home gardener. Our employees have great interest, knowledge, and experience in gardening, and want to help you enjoy your gardens. Since we believe that we are accountable for all the opportunities given us, our mission is to produce top-quality products by using the talents God has given us.

Their season end sale is going on right now (20 percent off everything), and they're down to using about 50 percent of their space. Most of what remains are smaller veggies and herbs and the smaller flowers designed for putting together your own planters (as opposed to the larger prefilled planters and hanging baskets we love to grab earlier in the season).
They plan to have their last day of the season next Saturday, so if you've got some spots to fill in your garden, now's the time.

They had a huge selection of peppers, veggies and herbs. I loved their flower selection. Their staff was really sweet. We were asked by multiple people if we needed help or if we were finding everything ok. They also give you a Radio Flyer wagon to shop with, super cute! They're smaller than the big greenhouses in Portage/Kalamazoo but have competitive prices. I'll definitely be going back! I found herbs and veggies there that I haven't found at the larger greenhouses too. I'll be a regular customer for sure!
