Bullis Creek Ranch is owned and operated by Quentin and Anita Brawner and son Rob and his wife Brenda and family. The ranch is located in the Sandhills of North Central Nebraska. We are south of Wood Lake, a small town along Highway 20 between Valentine and Ainsworth, Nebraska. Our family has been raising cattle for many generations.
The original family farm is located in Delevan, Illinois. Rob's dad Quentin raised Registered Polled Herefords for many years along with commercial cattle. In the late 1960's Angus bulls were used on the Hereford cowherd. Quentin realized the benefits of crossbreeding and looking to the future began to investigate the new continental beef breeds that were coming into North America via artificial insemination.

E116 was definitely a standout on the 2018 Bieber sale and the Stockman son's made a really big impression on the buyers that day. He was hands down our favorite bull on offer that day. A bull who comes loaded with growth in a moderate birth package and at the top of the Red Angus breed for carcass traits.

Working Border Collies- 100% Guaranteed since 1986 A good dog will take the place of at least 2 people when working stock. Not only are Border Collies excellent at working virtually any livestock, but they are great companions that are lovable and loyal as well. Border Collies are also one of the best breeds known for competition in Agility Trials.
We are basically a grass and cake outfit. We have no farm ground, or irrigation. All that is raised on the ranch is grass and wild meadow hay and usually not enough of that. Our cows have to be efficient, easy-keeping forage converters. Any supplemental feed has to be purchased so we have to keep a handle on mature cow size.

We are 25 miles east of Valentine, NE on Highway 20. Stop at Wood Lake and head south 4 miles till you see our ranch sign, turn left and proceed 2 miles east to the ranch headquarters.
