Services
A large part of supporting wholesome communities is providing our youth with quality programs. Organized youth sports instills confidence and a plethora of life long lessons that build strong leaders and team players. We strive to provide teams a piece of their personal history, a snapshot (pun intended) of what they will inevitably call "the good ol' days."
As a former teacher, and now as an active parent in my own kids' school I love to help rally community and fundraise with my photography services. This works best with my mini sessions which don't come around very often. I work with your school's parent-teacher group much like we would with a restaurant dine-out where a percentage of the proceeds go right back to your school.

Iv been wanting family photos for so long and so finally I decided to just do my research and yelp. Wow am I lucky to have found Leyna. She immediately responded to my email and followed up with a call to introduce herself and ask questions about my family and ask what exactly I was looking for. Working with Leyna was perfect! My family was traveling to San Diego area and I wanted to some family photos done while we were there. I found her on line and loved her portfolio and the fact that she was indicated she was LGBTQ+ friendly was perfect for my family. Leyna returned my call from my inquiry within 24 hours and was easy to communicate with. This was the first time we used Leyna and I found her through the internet because our usual photographer was booked but I am so glad we found her and that she was available to shoot our sons first birthday party. After reviewing her website and chatting with her on the phone she was hired for the job! Leading up to the party her communication skills were excellent, she even sent me a text the day of the party to confirm what time she would be there. She showed up early and was ready to shoot! Leyna is everything you would want in a professional photographer. We struck gold when we found her. It was the first time we have ever used a photographer for family portraits outside of a studio and she recommended a great location. Even though I was doubtful of the site at first, she has an expert eye and knew how to frame and shoot each picture bringing out the colors and utilizing the lighting to transform the location into somewhere I couldn't even recognize in the final portraits. Leyna does such an excellent job! She has twice now taken family photos with my daughters and their grandparents when they come over from Colorado. She is so personable and makes everyone feel comfortable. When you meet her you instantly feel like you have met a new friend. Leyna has gone above and beyond with us, we hired her for one of the most important events in our daughters lives, their baptism, and she was not only a wonderful photographer but a great professional. After she gave us the final product, we loved the pictures and decided to order some canvas through her, but the company switched the order, well Leyna not only fixed the problem, but she personally went to our house with bonuses for our family. My family and I had an amazing experience from start to finish. Leyna gave us idea on what clothes to wear and where we could take our family pictures. At the photo shoot she was great with my kids (ages 17, 6, 4, & 4months) and she even got my husband to smile!!!! The photos that she was able to capture were the best part of all. I can't say enough about Leyna! She has such a special way of making each session feel like a fun family playdate and she just "happens" to be there taking pictures (which works wonders for my son and husband who do not like having their pictures taken). We recently had a family session done and brought the family dog along for the first time. Leyna was not afraid to get on the floor, bark like a dog, or tell a joke or two in order to capture the perfect shot. She came to our home in Carlsbad when our baby was just 8 days old. She was easy to work with, very patient and wonderful with our older boys as well. She was able to get them to relax and laugh or smile for some natural looking shots. She was willing to wait for a feeding or a diaper and made our session so comfortable.

It was by chance Leyna and I met. I bid on a raffle at a charity function and I won a photo session with Leyna. From the get go, Leyna was friendly, personable, accommodating and professional. I couldn't be happier with Leyna's work! She has managed to capture the essence of our children and family in ways I didn't think possible. Leyna was so easy to work with for our family photo shoot. She captured playful photos, instead of the traditional stiff face forward kind, of our family in a variety of settings. She was willing to move around to different areas to find the best, unique backgrounds for our pictures. Her friendly personality made my family comfortable. She's so great with my kids and its real smiles out of them. She has also opened my eyes to how beautiful an "awkward" shot can be. My favorite photo she has taken of my daughter was her not even looking at the camera and standing with her legs almost tangled. Another fun shot of her covering her face. I'm not sure how she captures the essence of my kids personalities but I love the outtake as much as the 'traditional' ones. Looking forward to my next session!
