The first hour of our tour was mostly driving around and picking up people. Some of the group was doing the airplane tour, and a few of us weren't. Went to a couple of nice sites while they did the airplane tour, but again a good portion of time is spent dropping them off, waiting for the guide Steve to finish socializing with people, and returning to pick them up. The restaurant they took us to had very little Hawaiian food. This was a "best of Kauai tour," and we go to a place which does waffles and burgers as their main entrees. Absolute horrible experience!!! Total bait and switch!!! Preying on tourists that are looking for a nice experience on their vacation!
We wanted a large van to take a big group to a Luau so we proceeded to get several price quotes and even had the option to take the shuttle that the Luau offered. The quote we got from the owner of North Shore Limo was a little higher than the others but they sold us on the fact that we would be able to stop at a waterfall and would have extra time to see sites, etc. so we went with them.
