Shouldn't the attorney you choose take as much care in helping you to make your legal decisions as you did in choosing them? My name is Joan S. Arbiter and those three words sum up both my approach to the practice of law and also the care, dignity, and respect with which I treat my clients. These four areas are inter-related in many ways and decisions made in any one of them often impact the other areas and each member of the family.

In my practice as an elder law attorney, I take a holistic approach to my clients' concerns. I listen to them. I treat them with dignity and I respect their wishes at all times. I consider all the factors and choices involved in each unique situation and then explain the law, the legal choices, and the implications of those choices to my clients.
