Having over a 80 year history of service, the Baldwin Greenhouse is an establishment based on quality material with a friendly atmosphere. The Baldwin Greenhouse has a retail flower shop connected to a seasonal retail garden center, joined with a huge wholesale growing area covering more than 50,000 square feet.
Started in 1935 by the Kimball family the Baldwin Greenhouse was further developed to the size and quality of today by John Christianson who was a pioneer in the greenhouse industry. Continuing this tradition, James Karlson purchased the Baldwin Greenhouse in 1994 and has dedicated his life to working with the community and giving service while expanding the retail display.

Services
The Baldwin Greenhouse features a seasonal garden center that offers plants that are correct and recommended for this area. Beginning in spring, sometime in April, there is a hard goods section containing gardening supplies along with many aisles of annuals including hanging baskets, perennials, trees, shrubs, and vegetables.
Baldwin Greenhouse website is almost fully up and running. It appears that within a week we can begin receiving orders through it! We are excited to offer this service and give out thanks to everyone for the efforts and support given to make this happen. Thank you to my God and creator for allowing me.

I am new to the area and decided to pick up some plants for my garden to plant over Memorial weekend. Although the prices were slightly higher than your box stores, the customer service they provided to me personally was above and beyond anything you would receive at a name brand store. I am a huge fan of supporting local businesses and I plan to continue doing business with Baldwin Greenhouse. Thank you so very much for your help yesterday 😊

It takes a lot for me to write a review and I am beyond impressed! We have gotten a number of plants and flowers there but what happened yesterday prompted me to write this. My son's girlfriend got a prom corsage from another shop and was extremely disappointed. I called Baldwin Greenhouse to see if they could help at all. They said to pop by to see if they could do anything. Rochelle did an amazing job helping her and she was beyond happy with the results. They are beautiful. AND she didn't charge anything. We will be shopping there even more now. I highly recommend for quality of product and

I had a "last minute" delivery request over the 4th of July weekend and this greenhouse delivered !! My daughte flowers for my January 18th Birthday. Because the weather was getting terrible (she lives in Wash. D.C & was following on radar) she said the flowers could be delivered Tuesday, the 21st. We live approximately 20 miles from Baldwin. Not only were the flowers cheerfully delivered, they were absolutely gorgeous!

Killing time looking for perennials. Buy 5 save $1 per plant. Today I found 2 pink bleeding hearts, woodrift and silver mound artemesia ground cover. The downfall is they didn't have natives. The staff person actually spent time and assisted me in finding perennials. Now if it will stop raining in MN, I can plant them.
