Everything from our office design to our specialy trained staff is tailored to the special needs of children. I had a wonderful experience at this practice! My daughter had to have a few dental procedures and we tried at a regular dentist but it did not go over well with her. I was nervous before her appointment at KTO but have to say that the doctors and staff were so calming and kind that it was the easiest appointment ever!
No tears (for me or my daughter)! I feel so grateful to the doctors and staff for making what could have been a traumatic experience for my child a very positive, calm experience. I would recommend this facility to all who have children. Just took my daughter to her first dentist appt. This place is perfect for little ones, the decor is kid oriented, making it fun.

Dr. Patrick Micaroni was born and raised in Central New York and is excited to return to the area! A graduate of Canastota High School, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY with the highest honor, summa cum laude.
Dr. Mic then went to the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine for his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, again graduating summa cum laude and being inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. After becoming a dentist, Dr. Mic stayed in Buffalo for an extra two year post-doctoral residency program allowing him to specialize in pediatric dentistry at the Women and Children's Hospital at Buffalo.

In addition, we find that filling it out prior to your child's first dental appointment vastly cuts down your family's time in the office, making it an easier and smoother process for both you and your child. Looking for a fun activity for the kids during this pandemic? Here are some fun "dental" themed pages your children can color while reminding them of the importance of dental health!

Probably the best experience I have ever had with a dental office in this area. It was my daughter's first time at the dentist and Dr. Micaroni and Courtney were so fun, inviting and knowledgeable. They explained everything they were doing during the visit and they even let her help, which she LOVED. All night she was talking about going back to the "cool doctor place". I would definitely recommend.

Newer to the area and I am trying to get my daughters into a dentist. I called and gave them my daughters ages and told them we were in search of a dentist. Everything was going well until Karen the receptionist asked me what insurance my girls had. As soon as I told her Fidelis she said sorry we aren’t accepting anymore patients with Fidelis. I asked why specifically Fidelis so I could let the insurance company know - she then said well no now we aren’t accepting any new patients...

I honestly cannot believe this place has such good reviews. I was referred here by my son's dentist. I already felt bad enough that my son needed dental work and they made me feel even worse about it. He took pictures of my son's teeth, not x-rays, and told me that he needed 2 caps. I got a second opinion and was able to have his teeth filled rather than have caps put on. Definitely would not recommend this place and will never be going back! I would give it a 0 rating if I could.

The dentist my special needs son seen was awesome the receptionist/ nurse was very rude. My son caught his finger on something while we were waiting and started to bleed a little so I go up and ask if I could have a tissue and a bandaid and was told very rudely that no they don’t have any and to use the bathroom. Mind you I can see the box of tissues rite their on the desk lucky the dentist brought my son a Band-Aid after being told they didn’t have any.
