Chautauqua Regional Youth Ballet
One of the jewels of our community is the Chautauqua Regional Youth Ballet - not only as the premier school for classical ballet training in our region, but also as a resource for our community through its quality ballet performances and its educational offerings. CRYB enriches the Jamestown and neighboring communities through a ballet repertoire that ranges from the works of the classical masters to today's contemporary choreography.

More than 3,000 individuals a year enjoy CRYB's performances in the Chautauqua region. At our new studio in downtown Jamestown the CRYB School provides the area's finest classical ballet training to students of all ages. CRYB educates the Jamestown community through Arts Education programs that foster creative exploration for children and Community Engagement programs that provides patrons with a deeper understand of dance.
Services
LATE FEES: There will be a 10% late fee added to all tuition not received by the 15th of each month. Returned checks will be charged additional handling fees. REFUND POLICY: No refunds, credits, or transfers to another semester or month. Students who miss classes or withdraw before the end of a semester or month are still obligated for the full semester or month's tuition.
Students are expected to maintain a professional appearance and to adhere to the uniform requirements. Coming to class dressed on your appropriate attire is an important part of preparing yourself for class. Proper attire is an important part of showing respect for your classmates, your teacher, and the discipline of dance.
Chautauqua Regional Youth Ballet, under the direction of Monika Alch, offers comprehensive classical ballet training to students from Pre-Ballet levels through Pre-Professional training. CRYB is located in Jamestown, NY. This position involves teaching classical ballet technique as well as choreographing for the annual student production.
If you have not yet signed up as a volunteer (desk monitor, dressing room monitor, costume help, etc) please be sure to do so - call or email with any questions and any and all help is greatly appreciated! With the exception of theatre week the majority of Nutcracker rehearsals will be held on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons between 1:00 and 6:00pm.
The CRYB family is deeply saddened by the loss of our greatest fan and champion - and Miss Monika's dear husband - Mario Alch. His unending encouragement, support, and joy inspired each and every dancer in the studio. A treasured friend for many, many years! We will miss Mario! He was always interested in Marie and attended her recitals and performances.
