Vines At Vail Winery
Located in the heart of Vail Valley, Vines at Vail Winery is a character-driven, modest mountain boutique winery specializing in handcrafted wines. Owner and winemaker, Patrick Chirichillo, was raised in an Italian family of winemakers. Honoring his heritage, he became interested in the winemaking process as a child - helping his grandfather in traditional home production.

He learned more than how to cultivate distinct wine; he discovered a deep-seeded passion for a creative process that promotes storytelling and sharing life's moments. Patrick and his avid vintners produce wines that have garnered numerous annual awards. We look forward to expanding our reach as we embark on a new phase in our winemaking journey.

Don't drive 24 miles past Vail for this wine (or what they are trying to call wine) The drive to this location is beautiful, the location, however looks like a old western movie set with little indoor seating. The view of the mountains we the only highlight of the winery.

Waited a good 15 minutes for wine taste. Only 1 other table there and they were finished, just paying. Very over priced for tastings. Nice location. Wouldn't go back.

I came here to try out the wines and enjoy the scenery after a long day of hiking in the area. We drove up to the ranch, which also had a lot of other activities such as excursions and rock wall climbing, and parked in the guest area. The winery area is mainly outdoor seating with the bar also outside. Anthony, the man that served us, was also the wine maker and very friendly and quick to give insight and information on the wines. I really enjoyed the white wines they had, and I typically prefer reds! The cost was very reasonable for the in flight and Anthony was quick to check on us. It did get

Patrick is an incredible host and wine maker!
We thoroughly enjoyed the first hand experience that Patrick prepared for us. He made us feel at home as soon as we met him and explained every part of the wine making process, tasting, and everything there is to know about wine. He is truly passionate about his wine and the love he puts into every barrel and bottle. We will be back without a doubt and look forward to seeing him again. We highly recommend the visit!

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Patrick, of Vines at Vail Winery, along with his son Anthony. They made us feel completely at home and were excited and enthusiastic about sharing their wine making process and story. They opened so many different bottles with very generous pours for us to try their awesome collection of wines. We even tried wines out of the barrel. We loved all of them. We went in with the intention of taking home a few bottles and left with a case and joining the mail wine club. We highly recommend a visit. Thank you both for your hospitality.

If you want an amazing view with a comfy patio, this is your spot. The wine, on the other hand, was some of the worst wine I've tasted (and most expensive- over $30, and some $40 a bottle!). We each got a tasting of 5 wines each for $29ish. Every wine we tasted was equally as bad which was very surprising. The servers and bartenders here were really nice though, and the view was spectacular which is why it got more than 1 star.

What a sweet hidden gem! If I could give an extra GOLD STAR to Vines at Vail Winery, I would because the service and value were exceptional!

My two friends and I each got a flight of 3 wines and they were very nice sized pours. We all enjoyed our wines, but the favorites (and bottle purchases) were the Malbec, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel.

The ambiance is awesome! It was a beautiful day, so we sat at the exposed bar (wild west themed) and was quickly greeted by Patrick and Jordan. They were so friendly! They felt like long-time friends! Patrick poured us each a taste of a Sangiovese that wasn&apos

Again this year my birthday was complete thanks to Patrick, Chelsea and Stacy! These are amazing people serving delectable wine with the most wonderful love and kindness. The view is beautiful! The charcuterie tray is delicious! Most of all it's the people! The wine is the best by far but it's the people that bring it all together! Vines at Vail isn't just a winery it's an experience! Cheers! See y'all next year!

Disappointing. Poor customer service. Took my wife out there for a glass of wine and tour for Mother's Day which you advertised . Was closed. Was told by others there waiting that the individual had to run an errand. Will be gone only 45 minutes. Still have not returned. Left out several bottles of wines for free samples but no glasses. We were planning on buying some wine for our dinner party. What a waist of time and gas driving out there. Doubt we will ever go back!

My friends and I had a great visit to the Vines at Vail Winery for a bachelorette party. Patrick and the rest of the staff were extremely hospitable. We were the only guests for the 2-3 hours we were there, and they catered to our every need.

For $43 each (there were 9 of us including the bachelorette), we got at least 5 bottle tastings and 2-3 barrel tastings each. They also served us some small snacks (grapes and bread with dipping oil) and allowed us to bring our own additional snacks. Plus the bachelorette was able to bottle her own wine of choice straight from the barrel. It was a special

We came here on Christmas Eve. It was just us for an hour while christian service was going on next door. Great owner and host. He shared food like we were one of the family. It got so busy after church was out but Patrick still made sure we were taken care of. Worth the trip!

This quant little winery is the best... located in the middle of a ranch that looks like the Wild West! We had a party of 20 come in for a pre-wedding get-together and the owner (Patrick) & staff could not have been more accommodating. They let us bring our own food (it was off season, so their food truck wasn't open) & they also let us help squeeze the grapes! We were also encouraged to walk the property and meet the horses & llamas. And, most importantly, the wine was delicious! .

Stopped by on a road trip back from Vail Colorado on a Sunday. Entered a small dusty ranch, pretty views of the surrounding mountains.

Seating is outside only. I was the only person there around noon. Not very lively.

Wines were decent. A little pricey, $15 for 3 tastings and $23 for 5 with no option to put that towards a purchase of a bottle. A fair selection of reds, a few whites. Sourced from Northern California.

Two stars for the awful reception. Jill was terribly uninviting with hostile vibes. Was so antsy she didn't even stick around longer than was needed to take the order and

Wandered in while.visiting the 4 Eagle Ranch in Wolcott. I am a foodie always looking to find off the beaten path food and drink finds.
Charming rustic location.
Fabulous wines

I would be giving this winery a one star review based on the employee they had working there.
She was rude, unsociable, could not get off her computer to help us. I felt unwelcome and as if we were bothering her rather than visiting her business.
We were saved from leaving by the owner as he entered where all of a sudden "Jen" remembered her job and her demeanor changed jumping up to help us.

My wife and I stumbled on to Vines at Vail after an amazing zip line tour. I must say, at first I was very skeptical. Good wine in the middle of the Colorado Rockies...come on. But after having tasted the wine, my view has changed. Patrick is an amazing host and he has done a great job of producing solid wines. We tasted reds from the bottle and from the barrel. I have been on many wine tasting tours in Napa, and Patrick provided an experience that would rank at the top of anything in Napa. And as pretty as Napa is, the view from the tasting bar is better. Just saying. Oh, by the way, the
