Train our employees well enough that they can get a job anywhere; treat them well enough they want to stay. We are a precision machine shop located in central Illinois. They had, and still have a simple philosophy - run a lean business that makes high quality parts at a reasonable price. We have grown steadily for over 35 years based on our reputation for doing just that.

We believe that no amount of technology will help us reach our goals without the right people. We encourage outside-the-box thinking and are always searching for highly skilled and motivated people to join our team. Wagner Machine has many areas of expertise ranging from grinding, CNC milling, and CNC turning, to specialized processes including wire EDM, abrasive waterjet, swiss turning, full 5-axis milling, and robotic automation.

As would be expected, experienced employees make great parts. Of our 45+ employees, five have been with us for over 20 years and many more have been with us for over 10 years.

Our motto is "The difficult we do right away, the impossible will take a little longer." We almost never turn down complex parts because we have the experience, equipment, and creativity to tackle your toughest prototype machining challenges. Our prototype department has dedicated equipment and machinists for low volume machining.

Our high-speed machining options help reduce costs on small parts. 50% of our production equipment has been upgraded in the last 3 years and we have invested in advanced metrology equipment including optical inspection and 5-axis CMM technology. Wagner Machines' low volume production service has been in full swing for over 35 years.
