Been a member for 25 yrs. This place has zero committment to customers. 2 times in 6 months the debit card they issued got hacked. For some reason they said they could not overnight a new card to me. ALL MY MONEY WAS TIED UP UNTILL I COULD GET A CARD. It wasn't that they could not send a card overnight, the WOULDN'T do it! Apparently they don't know how to put a card in an envelope and fill out and overnight delivery form...

Their utter disregard for their customers is one of the worst I 've ever seen. They said they would "EXPEDITE" card if I paid them 30.00.

I've been a member for 8yrs. You might aswell go to a bank. Usalliance treats you like a customer, not like a valued member at all. I will definitely be closing my account. No I do not recommend.

In my 30 years of having banking relationships, this is the first bank that does not allow you to set up an automatic direct payment between an external bank and your mortgage and HELOC account to be paid on the date of your choosing as along it is within the grace period.

Their customer service reps do not actually know this about their own bank (I guess because it's so obvious and basic a service they all assume they do, until they find out they don't), so you end up speaking to them for endless hours until you figure it out yourself.

I have been with USAlliance a few years now but recently my fiancé and I walked in to open a joint account and Sophia Vessiropoulos took us right away, I have been helped by her a couple times before and she is very kind and helpful. Everyone seems to be friendly and enjoy what they do. USAlliance is the only place I bank with and plan to keep it that way.

Anybody reading this PLEASE DO NOT join this bank.
A person would that a small bank would appreciate it customers more nope. You get better service and features with large banks then this one. Excessive fees, no help to build credit a charge to replace a debit card where their reps will tell you it costs the BANK money to make a replacement debit card lol 😆crazy. So a little word of advice if you are thinking of joining this bank you might as well do B.O.A, T.D, Chase anything but this.

I had US Alliance service a vintage car loan for me. They bambozzle you that they open a $5.00 savings account at the same time the car loan is initiated. Loan is paid off, I moved $4.00 of savings to my car loan, but had to keep $1.00 in the savings account. So I contacted them to send me my $1.00 and close the account, and they responded with I have to send a $10.00 check because that is the fee to get my dollar back!
I know, it's only a dollar, but if they do this to everyone I suppose it is enough money for the bank president to have a fun weekend in Alantic City. So enjoy yourself

Do the whole application for a HELOC. Ariel finally reaches out after close to a week. After that I hear from him not until another week later on. Tells me everything is with the underwriter and he cannot help out right now.
Fast forward another 3 weeks without ANY communication. Just to tell me I am disqualified. Communication with clientele was just plainly god awful. Then I have heard anything from Ariel since that first conversation.
One of the only reasons I got disqualified was what I disclosed to him right in the beginning. Said “It would 100% not be an issue”. Thanks for the lie on

I am member for over 45 years, my father added me when he worked for IBM. I was 5 days late on a credit card payment and they froze my checking and debit account. They were a great bank years ago but are terrible now.

Been with this credit union since it was the AT&T FCU. I don't live near any branch now, am going to leave them. Just putting my atm card into Samsung pay, turns out I had my landlines as my contact number. Went on the app to update, now it tells me a representative has to review this!!! Also the check cashing app is awful. Very archaic way of doing business.

If I could give them a zero I would, they don't treat you like a member they treat you like a customer like banks, the irony there is the last bank I had before treated me better. They called me on the 14th and said your stimulus came here so you have to open account or it will be sent back.
I was pissed but i said to myself ill drain the money and delete the account again right after. I opened the account but no check was deposited, so i gave it another day the 15th and called back and asked why hasn't the check been deposited and she puts me on hold and when she comes back on she tells

I've been a customer for a couple of years and have auto loan and credit card accounts there. I have never been late with a payment, but this month they haven't posted my payment even though they received it 5 days ago. First thing they did was report it to Experian, causing my rating to drop 70 points. I am very disappointed and would not recommend them to anyone.

I absolutely love banking with USAlliance! Anytime I have any questions or concerns the team at the Medford location Irene, Al and Sophia help me with no hesitation. I have bothered them on numerous occasions with some pretty ridiculous questions and they continue to help with patience and are so personable. I honestly can not think of one bad thing to say about this credit union and more importantly the staff! They are truly the ones who have helped to make my experience above and beyond!!!

I went to this bank to refinance my car 3 years ago to get a better interest rate with lower monthly payments and it was so easy. Irene has really been my go to she’s pure awesome always guiding me to the right direction in what I am looking for and what would works best for me. She really knows her stuff!!!!! Would recommend this bank for sure, only down side is I live near Lowell there is only 3 branches to deposit money into your account which is Cambridge, Malden, and this one in Medford. Would be awesome to expand and have more branches. Thanks USALLIANCE/Irene!

I've been with USAlliance since day 1. And I have been happy with all the services offered. All of the associates are personable and helpful. When it comes to finances this is my go to, consistently has the best rates when it comes to cd's and loans. And special promotion offers, just ask.

All staffs were so helpful and courteous since I stepped foot in this branch before I even became a member. My wife and I were very pleased with all staff members, especially Miss Sophia Vessiropoulos who stayed longer after the bank closing time to register us. She was wonderful to work with.

Several headaches with this credit union, including lost check that magically showed up two weeks later at their doorstep. Unprofessional nasty letters sent from a third party regarding their insurance monitoring service, suggesting they are US Alliance. Should have went with gut feeling while going through the laborious, painful process of home equity and trying to navigate through incompetence. Never again and I would advise staying away. If one more thing happens I will pay the expense of refinance with my other painless credit union.

This place is useless about 80% of the time. The fact that I still bank here at all shows just how strongly I feel about credit unions.

First, something as simple as getting quarters can somehow turn into a 20 minute process involving finding someone who has access to, like, an actual vault. I just want quarters, not the queen's jewels!!

Oh, and on the topic of change, they don't have a machine to count & accept change. They recommended I try Star Market. Ok, but your job is literally to take my money...why do I have to go someplace that's going to take a 10% cut or only pay

These people are unable to properly underwrite a loan. Not sure if I got assigned an intern, but her assessment was wrong, and she never even bothered to respond to my many calls and emails explaining how she didn't review the documents correctly. Will refer to CFPB.

I have been with US Alliance Financial since September 2016. Every time I go in to the Medford Branch The tellers and manager know me by name that means a lot to your customers when they recognize you and you recognize them. I have referred all my friends to this bank weather they transfer over or not I’m not sure but it is the friendliest bank that I have ever had my account with. The online apps are fantastic you could do practically anything by yourself online. This is the best bank ever in my opinion.

Please beware This company took over our credit union 20 years no fees the first month I got my account statement the account was split into two different accounts had always been they hit us with maintenance service fee of 5.95 and a below average min balance fee 5.95 on both account's for a total of $23.96

stay away 25 dollars in fee for one month if that's not illegal it should be

It wont let me post a one star rating


Now you respond by saying maybe there's a better account for you after you steal and yes I did say steal it because that's what you did $25 for me you

This is the single worst institution I have ever dealt with. I was treated extremely rudely by their CSR and treated like a criminal when some issue occurred with the payoff of the vehicle between them and a dealership. I have never had a CSR from any company be that rude, disrespectful and honestly unwilling to help. I would not recommend this institution to my worst enemy.
