I took the embroidery class virtually. Chloe was great, I had a good time learning various embroidery stitches. Chloe took the time to explain and was very helpful. P.S. I got the cat lady book.... love it!

I really enjoyed my instructor and its criminal that I cannot remember her name (curly hair, a complete cutie pie). She explained each part of the sewing machine in great detail, presented me with multiple opportunities to learn how to utilize each part to mastery before moving on, and provided me with approvals all along the way to help motivate me throughout the process. 100% would recommend for anyone looking to learn how to use a sewing machine

I took private sewing lessons at the New York Sewing Center to make a quilt with my old t-shirts. I learned a lot and had so much fun being creative with my teacher, Arly! I also used some studio time to sew on my own—which was awesome since I’m not quite ready to buy a machine for my small NYC apartment. Truly a wonderful experience!!

I enjoyed my lessons with Amy at The New York Sewing Center. She helped me perfect my straight skirt pattern and draft a sheath dress pattern. She helped me accelerate my skills and I plan to take more lessons!

Took a beginners solo sewing class and I had an absolute blast! My instructor was super patient and knowledgeable. She made me feel confident despite my rookie mistakes. Would definitely like to attend more classes in the future.

I had so much fun at the sip and sew class. The instructor was very knowledgeable and patient. It was a great introductory class that reviewed all the parts of the sewing machine and wakes us through the steps for sewing a tote bag. I want to take more classes in the future!

Amazing experience! Love taking classes here. As someone with no experience sewing, I was able to come and learn all the basics, enough to get started at home. Instructors are great, and there is a large variety of classes to choose from

This place is great! It spacious enough, super well lit
and organized.
I am an experienced sewer but needed some help with some bridal specialty techniques. My instructor was super knowledgeable, friendly and patient.
It’s been 2 years and I‘ve signed up for another specialty course-Tambour embroidery.
I can’t wait to get started.
