Brant Audiology & Tinnitus
Brant Audiology & Tinnitus is the largest Hearing Aid and Audiology clinic in Wyoming. Our friendly Audiologists, Dr. Brant Christensen, Dr. Ruby Zubrod and Dr. Samantha Wagner Yung, have over 40 years of combined experience helping people just like you to hear better through individual treatment plans.

Many, although not all, individual treatment plans include digital amplification. Our goal is to find each patient a personalized solution by looking at lifestyle, patient preferences, and your specific type &/degree of hearing loss. Visit our offices in Casper, Cheyenne, Torrington and Wheatland to learn about new technology, including devices compatible with iPhone and Android phones!
Services
Dr. Brant Christensen of Brant Audiology and Dr. Ruby Zubrod of Audiology and Tinnitus Center joined their practices in 2012. This partnership allowed both doctors the ability to provide better care and extend their treatment options for patients. Dr. Samantha Wagner Yung joined the team in 2015, primarily servicing our Western Nebraska and Goshen County patients in the Torrington clinic.
North Platte Physical Therapy is pleased to announce a brand new location at 1900 Converse Avenue. North Platte Physical Therapy South is open to serve their patients from 7AM - 6PM Monday through Friday. Services provided include: back and neck pain rehabilitation, outpatient wound care, post-op rehab, sports therapy, aquatic therapy, dry needling, kinesiotaping, women's health, work hardening, vestibular and neurological rehabilitation.
To begin your Audiological Evaluation (hearing test), our audiologist will review your health history and ask questions designed to learn more about your hearing concerns. For example, you may be asked about your symptoms, your history of noise exposure, your family's history of hearing loss, and the specific types of environments in which you experience difficulty hearing.
After a thorough review of your hearing history, we will perform a comprehensive audiological evaluation. A second audiometric test will be performed with hearing aids on to determine performance with amplification. Word testing in quiet and word testing with sentences in the presence of background noise will be performed to assess performance on speech tasks.
You may have heard there is no cure for tinnitus. However, there is hope. Audiologists are specially trained to provide treatment options that can ease the perceived burden of tinnitus, allowing patients to live more comfortable, productive lives! Tinnitus is mostly a subjective disorder, however, there are methods of clinically measuring tinnitus qualities and personal impacts on the patient.

I really enjoyed Dr. Poulsen. He listens well and offered immediate suggestions. We discussed a lot of options, and he was well informed on all the technology. I also enjoyed meeting the very nice receptionist. They took excellent care of me!

Austin was very good in the testing and explaining the results of the tests so that you could understand what was found and how to correct the hearing loss.
Ruby was very helpful also in determining the best device to meet my needs by listening to what I said and giving truthful advise.
You can not find a better group to get the help needed to be able take part in conversations again.

We had a wonderful experience with Brant Audiology and Ruby in particular! She was understanding and patient with us, great with my son (who did not particularly enjoy the testing, which was no fault of hers!), and took the time to explain the testing to us and answer our questions. I highly recommend Brant Audiology as the mama of a toddler who received audiology assessment there.

Ruby was fantastic! She thoroughly explained the results of my hearing test and explained to me why she thinks I suffered hearing loss. She requested a follow-up to keep taking care of my issue and didn't just dismiss me. I appreciated her attentiveness and would recommend Brant Audiology to anyone who needs this type of service!

Had to get a pre-employment hearing test and they bent over backwards to help me out with it. They didn't seem concerned about seeking me anything, just making sure that my needs were met!

The test itself was fine. But it took two months and several follow up phone calls before the audiology test results were to finally be sent to my VA representative for filing a hearing loss claim. Then the report had two significant errors: it cited someone else's military information instead of mine on two pages. The report also has typos: one would think Vietnam would be spelled correctly, for example.

The VA filing has to be redone because of the ridiculous errors in reporting someone else's military service.
