Laurel Marina's Marine Services is South Holston Lake's premier, on-water service department. Our Mercury Certified highly trained staff is capable of handling all of your boat's needs. We offer mobile service and towing options to make servicing your boat convenient. From runabouts and day boats, to cruisers and houseboats, we have the necessary equipment and training to keep your repair and maintenance timely and low cost.
South Holston Lake has 160 miles of shoreline with 8 miles of island shoreline and 7,550 surface acres. South Holston Lake is well known as a fly fisherman's paradise. South Holston Dam, at a whopping 285 feet high and 1,600 feet in length, is the third largest earthen dam in the world. This massive earth and rock structure holds back the waters of South Holston Lake which extends some 24 miles up the river from the dam.

First off I want to say that Jacob and his co worker are both excellent. Me and my dad was about two miles from the marina, when the engine on our boat stopped working. Called and called other marinas but none of them answered and no boats to tow us back. We called them and right away they came to our rescue. What great people. We are not members of the marina but they treated us like we was.

Laurel Marin is wonderful in so many areas. Its location, food at Price's Two, cleanliness, to mention a few, are all top notch. I always know my boat is safe and well taken care of. Their staff is most helpful. Recently a member of their staff named Jake was especially helpful with my elderly parents-in-law, going above and beyond in his always friendly, pleasing assistance. He made their day very special!

We rented a pontoon boat for the day, plus a tube for some water sport. Fun! Boat was outfitted with a 150hp motor, plenty of juice for exciting tube rides. Price was a little higher than marinas on Watauga, but the boat was nicer and the lake is undeveloped and secluded. Had the lake nearly to ourselves on a beautiful Tuesday in July. Lots of natural life to see out there too!

This was our first time on South Holston Lake. What an incredible experience!! We had ten in our party and everyone had the time of their life! We had a great Bennington boat that performed masterfully!! The staff was top-notch. Super helpful and kind. Brady helped us out getting it docked at the end and it was as smooth as silk. Laurel Marina is a great place. Come spend the day out here and enjoy the extreme beauty of Tennessee!!!

Wonderful experience on the lake!! So easy to rent, the boat was clean and ready to go, and the staff was amazing. We grabbed some food on the dock to take on our boat and had a fabulous 4 hours. Return was super easy and the staff was ready to greet us!! We’ll be doing this several times this summer!

Oh what a success story!! Our long planned vacation to Lake Holston was almost completely foiled. I received a voicemail 2 days before our arrival from Laurel Marina saying our pontoon boat rental was being cancelled due to emergency maintenance & sorry about the inconvenience. At first I was infuriated as I had reserved the boat for 2 days and that was the main event for our lakehouse vacation! After telling Ken at Laurel our story and that we were really in a bind now that every other Marina had already leased their extra boats, we had no boat to take on the lake. Ken pulled through though

The food is delicious. The wait is sometimes long, but the food is worth the wait. The menu is mostly short order: sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, wraps and salads. Most items come with choice of fries, tots or onion rings. The workers are nice, pleasant and offer great service. If you're not in a hurry and want great food in a nice relaxing atmosphere at South Holston, try this place.
