Mininger & Son was brought into existence by Norman Mininger and his son Philip when they saw a need for knowledgeable and reliable electricians in the Quakertown area. Both men had previously developed a reputation for doing quality work while employed for a local electrical contractor before he retired.
In 1975 they formed Mininger & Son. The father and son team preformed a variety of types of work ranging from additions, repairs, maintenance and new work. They accepted both residential and commercial jobs working side by side. As time passed Norman gradually retired from electrical work, and Philip took on additional responsibilities.

Phil and his team were great. Not only was their quote competitive, but he was able to schedule the work quickly. He was forthright about planning around another job and was able to squeeze us in. He upgraded us from 150A to 200A service along with running new wire and replacing a subpanel. When one of his guys inadvertently hit a switch to turn off our boiler (not his fault...extremely tight working space between the boiler and a subpanel), Phil was out the next day (Saturday!) to identify the problem and quickly remedy it (restoring hot water). We are a very appreciative and thankful customer

Mininger and Son has done electrical work at my home for over 6 years now and has exceeded my expectations every time, then know local codes, are efficient, and will do everything possible to meet your needs. They installed a complicated split panel box and generator connector, wired my new fireplace insert fan and many other fixture and switches. A+ work everytime.
