This dentist's office is wonderful all around. I had an abnormally painful cleaning at a DIFFERENT dentist a few years back and was hesitant to get a cleaning again, so I waited too long, and then even longer with covid. I couldn't hold off anymore and was worried about my teeth so I called and they were able to get me in within a couple days. Everything was exceptionally clean, sterile and safe. Everyone was incredibly nice especially knowing that I was a bit nervous. Dr. Ho answered all my questions. The cleaning was totally fine and I'm not nervous to go to the dentist anymore

Dr. Ho is, without question, the absolute best dentist I’ve been to in my life. She and her staff are thoughtful, helpful, honest and professional. She has a gentle demeanor so I assume she’s good with children. I never feel like I’m being rushed through the process or being sold on a product or service.

Went in for teeth cleaning during COVID and they will communicate changes to their office/process before your appointment and do multiple health screenings with you before and during your visit (i.e. temperature check, wear a mask, answer health questions, etc.). Although it does take a little longer than normal, they were still efficient and thorough with their services.

Beware of Fraudulent Claim to your Insurance!!
I was looking for a new dentist in my neighborhood, so I called this office if they would accept my insurance in mid June. After getting my personal information to look up my coverage, they started to explain how they would bill my plan and to me. I told them I would call back to make an appointment after discussing with my spouse. I never called them back for an appointment.
I received a bill from my insurance company a few days ago and was shocked to see that I was billed to the service from this dental office which was never rendered to me.

We love Dr Vanessa Ho! She was so gentle and great with my little girl (4years). Her office staff was great and helpful to make sure our visit was safe - checking our temperature, wearing masks, and keep the office clean. They had a great protocol to make sure everything was in order. My appointment is next Tuesday and then my Husband on Thursday. Its a family affair. Great office. Totally support this business.

It took months to complete two implants and finally it was time to get two crowns. I told Dr. Ho that her prices are pretty high and if she could give me any discounts? She said that she uses one of the best labs and they are expensive which effects her prices but they are one of the best labs. After the crowns were finally put in, they felt very uncomfortable and more importantly painful. As a man closing in on 70 years and a former hockey player, I have seen many dentists, orthodontists etc over the years.
Before seeing Dr Ho I was prepared to have remaining teeth extracted.
Dr Ho was patient and honest with me and am i glad.
I now have the best teeth I've had in over a decade. I can eat anything and can smile without embarrassment.

Went to Dr Ho's last week as a first time patient after being on the lookout for a new dentist for a while. Dr Ho was kind and thorough. Gentle but really cleaned my teeth up well. Answered all my questions and made the whole appointment process easy. Her hygienist and receptionist were also so sweet and helpful. Will be back in 6 months!

Vanessa is so great. I was scared of visiting the dentist for YEARS. Ever since I started visiting Vanessa & getting my regular check-ins/teeth cleaning, my teeth have stopped randomly aching & I feel way better about my smile. Her receptionist Sue is also great - I love that I can email her for scheduling, it's super easy. My wait is never too bad, and parking is generally pretty easy.
I've recommended so many friends to Vanessa, that I figured it's about time I say something on Yelp!

I'll start by saying that I have an unbelievably intense fear of going to the dentist. As a kid I had to have all but one or two of my baby teeth extracted and it was a horrible, traumatizing experience, prompting me to avoid going to the dentist for 9 years at one point. I started having problems with my teeth about four days ago and knew I needed to get them looked at (considering that at this point it's been four years since I've last sat in a dentists chair) before things got any worse. I had great experiences at this dental office from the very first phone call! Sue, in the front office, was wonderful, she was caring, compassionate and went out of her way to answer all of my questions and fit me in the schedule on short notice. The entire team is great! I highly recommend them to everyone. I drove from Thousand Oaks to Burbank to get a NTI dental appliance that helps relieve my TMD pain and it was well worth the trip. Definitely a 5 star experience!

So I'm one of those people who have an irrational fear of dentists. I made it a goal in 2017 to get over that fear and get any issues with my teeth taken care of. I went to 3 other dentists before found Vanessa. I'm really happy to have found her!
Vanessa is very good at what she does and she's very accommodating to my fear of dentistry. Couldn't recommend more.

I'm extremely happy with the care that I've received by Dr. Ho and her staff over the course of the past year. I recently also transferred my Mother to receive care from Dr. Ho who referred her to get a root canal, and then helped complete the process by giving her a crown on the affected tooth. She immediately felt the amazing difference in receiving treatment by a capable and caring dentist.

I called to see if I could get my daughter registered as a new patient and book in for an examination/xrays/clean as she has just moved into the area with a new job. The receptionist Sue was extremely friendly and helpful and undertook researching the obscure dental insurance company straight away, submitting and confirming 100% coverage too. I was very impressed with such personal and professional customer service, plus she was lovely to talk to as well. Sue is such a nice lady

I went in for a cleaning and exam after not having been to the dentist in a long time. The staff was super friendly and professional, and was able to squeeze me in for a visit the same week I called.
The hygienist was very good, probably one of the easiest and pain-free cleanings I have ever had (even though I'd gone way too long between appointments). After that they took x-rays, which was quick and easy. I'm glad they did, because they caught some cavities that would not have been discovered from a regular exam.

I first started coming to this office when it was owned by Dr. Brix, DDS.. He was amazing! Today, the practice is owned by Vanessa Ho. My insurance changed in 2015 when I changed jobs and Dr. Ho was "out of network."
