Wellspring Pain Solutions
Wellspring was created to serve people suffering pain. Whether you have been referred by your primary physician or are researching Wellspring for yourself or someone you care about, there are a few things you should expect to be different. The medical team is best known for its customized invasive and non-invasive treatment techniques.

Wellspring's mission is to determine the source and type of pain being experienced. To treat and heal the source and cause of pain is our goal. If diagnosis and treatment are unsuccessful, our mission then becomes to successfully monitor and manage pain according to each patient's individual needs.

After graduating in 1986 from Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Drew Robertson completed his residency in Family Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. After success in family medicine, the young doctor then entered an anesthesia residency at Indiana University Medical Center, which he completed in 1994.
What is LSS? Lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) is a condition where the spinal canal narrows and compresses the spinal cord nerves in your lower back. As we age, the natural wear and tear on our spine can lead to a number of contributing factors that cause the narrowing of the spinal canal - thickening of ligament tissue, formation of excess bone, or compression/bulging of the discs.
When pain becomes chronic and long-lasting, and medicine and therapy are not helping, our pain management surgeons at the Wellspring Pain Solutions can provide peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS) to ease your pain. Peripheral nerve stimulation, frequently referred to as PNS, is a commonly used approach to treat chronic pain.
This may be a sign that you suffer from chronic venous insufficiency- a treatable condition that is covered by most insurers, including Medicare. Chronic venous insufficiency is the improper functioning of the vein valves in the legs. Venous disease is progressive, and if left untreated, can worsen over time and cause swelling, skin changes, and in severe cases, skin ulcers.
