The mission of our Volunteer Program is to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Aaron Manor. We invite you to join us as a volunteer at Aaron Manor and share in the joys and rewards of being a member of our community. Among those joys are the things we do with other people, sharing experiences, talking about what's new, lending a hand to a friend, and exchanging ideas.
Our core team of Registered Nurses and RN managers are dedicated professionals with extensive expertise in IV therapy, advanced wound care, post acute cardiac and pulmonary care and post CVA care. To support the RN team, Aaron Manor has a dedicated and professional compliment of licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants who provide the lion's share of nursing care throughout our organization.
Aaron Manor offers short-term rehabilitative care on our Transitional Care Unit to persons who are ready to leave the hospital but are not ready to return to their prior living situation yet. We offer comprehensive short-term rehabilitation, providing individualized care and treatment to people who have had a recent accident or illness.
The activity programs at Aaron Manor are designed to meet all levels of functional and cognitive needs. The diversity of the resident population and its consequent impact for programming is always a consideration in the planning and implementation of activities. We blend in creative workshops that are focused on children, story time, movement and expressive dance curriculum.
Our food at Aaron Manor receives rave reviews! We offer a select menu with two choices everyday. We prepare everything homemade, delicious and nutritious with seasonal foods and a variety of soup served right out of the crock at your table. The Registered Dietitian and Diet Technicians visit each resident upon admission to complete a nutritional assessment and meet food/fluid preferences.

Parents just arrived. I thought that this was going to be a great place. But I am not impressed. The food is terrible. Looks like canned food, not homemade. The staff doesn't have a positive caring attitude. They only have one Medical Assistant for 15 patients. Ridiculous! The staff at U of R Strong Memorial hospital was tremendous compared to Aaron Manor. Go somewhere else.. Don't waste your time here.

My brother has worked there for over 4 years as a dietary aid. He has a learning disability and the manager of the kitchen and assistant manager began making fun of him and being just mean for no reason. Honestly that’s just straight up mean and so rude especially bc he doesn’t like conflict and is the nicest and the most quite man you’ve ever met. That kitchen is a joke and if your parents live here be careful. If they can make fun of a kid with a learning disability imagine what they say about your loved ones .

We had an end of life situation. She was one of their multiple covid patients. Multiple calls for video chats to say goodbye to our mother, mother in law, grandmother and great grandmother were ignored over a 4 day period. I messaged the social worker to ask why and again, there was NO reply. We put a call into the director.....He also didn't respond. 5 people tried to tell their loved ones goodbye as she died alone with nobody there and it all fell on deaf ears. I find this behavior from the social worker all the way up to the director extremely troubled and this family deserved and explanation

Four years ago my dad stayed at Aaron Manor, with a broken hip and several other health issues. Three years ago my mother stayed, after back surgery. My mother went back again this week and they welcomed her with open arms and remembered her and my father. The staff is very nice and the facility is clean. I trust them with my mother, that says allot.

My Mom has been at Aaron Manor for about 2 months and the staff here are amazing. Megan the PA has been wonderful to my Mom and has kept me updated every step of the way. Penny the social worker has gone above and beyond and has been understanding and caring to our situation. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my Mom.

My husband stayed here a few years ago when he had a knee replacement. Now he just broke his hip and will rehabilitation again... I dearly love my husband and know from experience that I pray he comes back to Aaron.. The staff was so wonderful, empathetic, knowledgeable, kind and friendly. The way you wish for your loved one. I knew when I left from visiting that I left him in very good hands.

Must agree with a few of the other reviews. This place just wants my mom's social security check. Hours would go by before anyone came in to check on her. Any calls to the nurse would go unanswered. Personal items missing from her room. Luckily it was nothing expensive. Staff yelled at her for bothering them. I heard them say "What do you want", very nastily. Whenever I had a question, it went unanswered. Either I wouldn't get a call back or I was pointed to someone to answer it only to be told to ask someone else. A few of the aides were excellent and caring. They treated my mother very lovingly

Went to rehab here after total knee replacement. I had a very good experience here. Caregivers were wonderful and caring. Physical therapists and occupational therapists were very helpful in my recovery. My therapists were very knowledgeable and friendly. I had a very good experience at this facility. I totally recommend Aaron Manor for after-surgery care. It is a very nice looking place, is clean, has great dietary/food coordination, wonderful social workers, even a beauty salon(very nice while you're recovering to have your hair done). The nurses and doctors are fantastic.

On the outside, nice place. Clean. If you are not there to constantly check on your loved-one, they do not get the services the facility says they give. My dad was often neglected, left to sit for hours in the hallway. They did not administer his medication appropriately. They just want all your parent's assets and could care less about giving good care. Many of the aides were good...they deserve a better review than this. Social worker was not responsive when questioned.

We just lost my mom after a 8 month stay at Aaron Manor. I can't say enough about how clean the facility is, how well-cared-for the residents are & how helpful & competent the staff is from the doctors, PA's, aides, nurses & other support staff to the financial people. My mom loved it there & quickly bonded with her caregivers. They treated her like part of their own family. I would highly recommend this facility.

Aaron Manor is like a second home to me. I spend many hours there with my grandmother and they have always taken wonderful care of her. The staff is generous, kind, and accommodating, even to the most challenging residents. I am always greeted with a smile and my grandmother couldn't be happier with the care she receives. They treat her like family. I leave with the confidence that she will be in good hands and she will spend her night happy and loved by those who are caring for her.

My grandfather was placed in rehabilitation care, and eventually hospice, at Aaron Manor. This was a very very difficult time for all of our family, but the staff at Aaron Manor treated my Grandfather with such love and honest care. The quality of care and attention they offered to my Grandfather at every moment that he was there, was absolutely undeniable. In that extremely difficult time, the doctors and staff became part of our family, and their focus was on my Grandfather, and his comfort/well being. They were also more than supportive to the needs of our family. My family and I are most appreciative
