Ranor is a 2nd generation family owned and operated Maine business. Incorporated in 1972, Ranor experienced modest growth throughout the 70's and early 80's by specializing in residential installations. In 1984 an ownership change and a move into the commercial and industrial market initiated a period of astonishing growth.
Ranor's industry-leading EMR and proactive safety program demonstrate our commitment to safety and our dedication to maintaining the safest site conditions possible. Ranor has the breadth and experience to handle matters related to insurance coverage, claims, safety and loss control, thus giving Ranor greater control in managing projects.
Since our beginning in 1972, we have worked diligently to understand exactly what our clients expect from their Mechanical Contractor. It all boils down to five basic principles - Cost, Quality, Knowledge and Reliability. Each principle is of equal importance and the emphasis must be on the sum of all four and not on just one or two.
We uphold a strong belief that community involvement is of utmost importance in business. Here at Ranor, we have initiated and participated in several community events including a partnership with the Franklin County Health Network on a basketball tournament, Jay/Livermore Area Youth Sports program performing athletic field maintenance and the Livermore Falls High School technical education program.
