In fact, they were rusty when she bought them, having been left outdoors behind someone's house. She brought them home, sanded and painted them white, and covered the seats with patent leather. I went along with her on hunts through antique shops and thrift shops and she helped me develop my eye. I love the thrill of the hunt to this day, and bring that sensibility to the choices I make for Chifferobe.

Stephanie the owner is a very warm and welcoming person. Her store is filled with unique and interesting things. I’ve been visiting her store for about 10 years. I always look forward to going there. Her shop is definitely worth going to. We visit from Maryland, and were there 2-3 times during our two week stay in Black Mountain. You will not be disappointed!

I got several locally made mugs from here and when I got back to the Airb&b noticed that one had a small flaw. I didn't know how exchanging it would go, but the owner was very understanding and kind about it and let me swap it out. So of course I had to buy more! Lovely place to shop while in town. She has beautiful pieces and plants!
