Owner of Altered Art, Erik Lawson, has been tattooing since 1988. In 1991, Erik was voted the second best up-and-coming artist in the country. A master at a variety of tattoo techniques, Erik specializes in portraits (see portrait gallery), sleeves, back pieces, and cover-ups. He enjoys working closely with each client to create their custom tattoo.

I has my nose pierced there and the experience was amazing. She explained everything possible including small details I'm sure most people wouldn't bother to tell you. The process was quick, painless and the piercer that was there was very nice. Highly recommend. Piercing is first come, first serve. You sign in at the front door and wait outside in your vehicle till they are ready for you. Worth the wait!! 👍

Wanted to get a tongue piercing but you have to show proof of vaccinations. It’s ridiculous. I don’t have covid. People who have the vaccine can get and still give it. So I will NEVER use this tattoo/ piercing parlor because of the expecting people to show proof of vaccine.

Sharon the piercer was amazing. I was nervous but she talked me through everything. Everything was sterile and clean, it made me feel very comfortable. If I decide to get anything else pierced, I'll be back. Well worth the drive.
