In today's demanding and fast-paced world, everyone is talking about "anxiety, " but it can be hard to know if the stomach-churning stress you feel at the thought of meeting new people is "normal" stress or if you're experiencing some actual level of anxiety and could benefit from seeing a professional therapist.
Parenting can be satisfying and fulfilling, but being a parent is not easy and instructions are not provided. Parents and caregivers must tend to their child's daily needs and are responsible for helping them develop healthy life skills/boundaries and appropriate behaviors. Those with more than one child must juggle often-differing personalities, ages, and individual needs.
When facilitated by a skilled and trained therapist like those at BHSA, family conflict therapy can help improve troubled relationships between partners, children or other family members. Sessions may address specific issues, conflict between parents and children, or the impact of substance abuse or a mental illness on the entire family.

It's a pain to try to get an appointment, you have to listen to an entire recorded message with no options for an appointment then wait on hold just to say you'd like an appointment. If you speak with the doctor over tele-health, you will hang up with him and then have to call back up there for a follow-up appointment. It's been months since my daughter has talked to her therapist because the appointment is either canceled or no one takes the time to notify me that is has been changed from tele-health to in-person without asking me or her first. We've been using them for over a year and it has

I need help with a family member who needs Mental Health Services.
His medical records from an out of state hospital discharge, recommended he continue mental health treatment and adhere to his medications, which he’s refused to take.
This facility had no options, other than seek guardianship. I said, this process could take time and given our loved one mental illness he needs help.
I said, I don’t want to call 911 , if his condition progresses. I rather be proactive and not reactive!
Plus, calling the police ,if needed, may cause my loved one to run from the police like he did in the past

Update (scroll down for original review): after taking a break from mental health services, I resumed care with a different therapist at this clinic and the difference between her and my original therapist is like night and day. She is simply wonderful and is probably the first therapist I have clicked with in a long time. I look forward to speaking with her because I feel like she actually gets me and is interested in helping me unravel the reasons I react to my world in the way that I do. I only gave 3 stars because there are still so many issues with scheduling, particularly with the med doctor

It's been a full week since I left a message for the only person they have that can set up a new patient. Wednesday at 3pm I was told she had left for the day. Thursday at 2pm I was told she had left for the WEEKEND but that I could expect my message from Wednesday to be returned next Monday or Tuesday. It's Wednesday again and I haven't heard from them at all. I'm glad I found Chenal Family Therapy instead. Chenal emailed me back the same day I inquired, and I've had multiple calls AND emails from their new patient team making sure I've been helped. Perhaps there are extenuating circumstances
