Black's Waterproofing has installed the proven pressure relief system for over eighteen years. When cutting interior basement floor slab, we can relieve all hydrostatic pressure under the slab. Also, by installing weep holes at the bottom of block wall, no water can build up in the cinder block to seep onto the slab.
Exterior excavation is the process whereby we dig down, clean walls and recoat with a sealtight mastic, and add a french drain with #57 stone. There are a number of factors that go into deciding whether exterior excavation is the best option. Is your basement finished to the point where it would be cost prohibitive to remove walls in order to repair from the inside?.

These guys are fantastic.. we bought a new home and had a hell of a mess with water seeping into our garage. Priced a lot of places and Blacks was by far the lowest. Andy came out, diagnosed the problem immediately, and scheduled the job very soon after. It was an all day job, their crew came in the morning, tore the garage apart (including moving all our belongings, tearing down the stairs, workbench) and by late afternoon the leakage was fixed, and everything was amazingly RIGHT BACK WHERE IT BELONGED. They paid a lot of attention to detail and respected our home.

We had new interior foundation drains installed in Sept 2014. Within 3 days our basement was completely dry and comfortable instead of damp and smelly. We have a block wall basement that has been damp for years. The crew was on time, very careful of our yard and the items in our basement. They were polite and answered all of my questions. Though the process was loud and dusty, I can say that it was one of the best contractor experiences we have had. Andy came out the day after the job was completed to check on the job and pick up some items left behind. He had quoted me a price over a year ago
