Magna Machine and Tool is a premier Indiana Machine Shop with a firm belief that our products and services are only as good as our people. It isn't easy to make tight alterations on existing hardened material parts but when our customer came to us, we figured it out. Our customer had 60 A-2 hardened, 5860 Rockwell GRIPPERS that needed to be modified with additional bolt holes to work with a new casting.
This is no easy task for many. Following a year that made it next to impossible to have our annual golf outing, we were thankful to welcome more than 40 participants in 2021. After all that had taken place during the past year, we weren't sure if we were going to be able to have a successful outing.

Previously, Shore was an owner of Muncie Tool and Die in Losantville, Indiana where Culy was the shop foreman. They hired their first full-time employee, Eugene Weaver, in the spring of 1976. 1995 was a big year for Magna. Marion, the founding father, retired, ISO 9001 Certification was achieved and Magna was one of the first five companies to be awarded the Indiana Business Modernization and Technology Award for quality and customer service.
The precision machining and available capacity offered by our 13 Okuma lathes and mills set us up as the premier small to medium-size tool shop. With work envelopes ranging from X- 26 in, Y-16.5 in, Z-18 to X- 59, Y-26, Z-26 we are able to serve a diverse range of customers, products and material types.
Specialized machines are the heart of the Magna design department. We have worked with a broad range of customers in many areas of manufacturing. Our experience ranges from the simplest machine to the more complex turnkey projects which may include many machines to perform a required task.
