Pend D'Orielle Winery
The Pend d'Oreille Winery has been integrated into the Sandpoint community since 1995, when first established by Steve and Julie Meyer. Pend d'Oreille Winery was recently purchased by Jim Bopp and Kylie Presta, who intend to carry on the legacy of award-winning wine production and continue to tell the story of Pend d'Oreille Winery.

Our events throughout the year create great memories. Fire Dancing in February heats up Winter Carnival, the BYOB (Blend Your Own Bistro) party every April kicks off the spring in the best way, and perhaps the highlight is the Harvest Party in September. Jim Bopp, a Sandpoint native, worked the harvest season of 1998 and returned to the Pend d'Oreille Winery in 2007 as a mentee of Steve Meyer.

Located in the beautifully restored Belwood Building on the corner of 3rd and Cedar, not only will you be greeted by our educated staff but also over a 100 years of local history.
After many years of producing our Wines in downtown Sandpoint, we needed to expand our production capacity. We found the perfect piece of land and built a hangar located at 2625 N Boyer, right on the Sandpoint Airstrip. With a backdrop of the beautiful Selkirk Mountains and private aircrafts arriving and departing throughout the day, we couldn't be happier with our selection.

This is a great place for both sampling wines and having a bite to eat. I am a wine club member and enjoy coming in to pick up bottles and occasionally having a bite to eat with a glass of wine. Sometimes we will sit at the bar to do the tastings and socialize with the staff when they are not too busy. Other times we will sit in one of the big overstuffed comfortable chairs by the front windows. They serve a nice simple but tasty variety of foods that all pair well with their wines. A few of my favorites are the Spanakopita, the Drunken Mushroom Pizza, and The Feta Cranberry Salad. All the

Have enjoyed being a member of the wine club for two years. The experience I had today was most unpleasant. With an empty venue the customer service was poor. My food order was never put in. When it finally was ready it was not brought out to me in a timely fashion. Then to be told after the fact that one club members no longer received free winetasting. And it would have been nice to have been provided that information to you placing my order, or from the owners in an email letting wine club members know that winetasting was no longer free to members. The new manager of three weeks was unapologetic

Did the wine tasting and friend did the flight. The wines are easy drinkers. Really enjoyed all of them. The tender is very knowledgeable and walks you through it all. If your hubby is not into wine tasting, send him for a walk to the lake, or tell him he can order a beer and pizza and sit with you! Great stop and we will be back.

Absolutely Fantastic! All the food is hand made. We had the pizza and a salad along with a glass of wine. The pizza was great and the salad was Very Fresh! The Wine was Exceptional. I thought this place would be expensive but everything was very reasonable especially compared to all the other restaurants in Sandpoint. I will Definitely be returning!

This place was awesome! We had just come from a bad experience at another restaurant down the street, Baxters, where we literally walked out the service was so horrible. Pend d'Oreille Winery from the start had incredible, attentive, fast and knowledgeable service. Our waitress was amazing... don't recall her name but she was a very sweet and sharp college student; who new her stuff and treated us like gold. The patio seating was great, they accommodated our Boston Terrier and had incredible food and wine. Thanks everyone! Keep it up.

So much fun. Wines were fantastic and Waite staff was very good. We got there around 4:00 and a terrific band came in at 5:00 and brought back so many memories. Nice stop from Lake Louise to Spokane. I would recommend it to anyone needing a nice break during their travels through Sandpoint.

Nice, classy, comfortable tasting room. We were greeted quIckly and had a lovely wine tasting. They had many seating areas and local art for sale displayed.

The food from the adjoining restaurant smelled amazing. There was also a coffee bar-so something for everyone in down town Sandpoint.

We will be back.

Had an absolutely amazing time at Pend D' Oreille Winery!
ABBY our waitress was a pure delight and totally professional. I Enjoyed a delicious bottle of the Pend D' Oreille Winery 2018 Merlot and took the "Italian Picnic Pizza" to Go. From the hours from 4 to 6 on Wednesdays and amazing man by the name of Dwayne K Parsons plays all original piano music for the Guests. He's an extremely talented pianist and a wonderful storyteller! This place gets 5 Stars hands down! Henry was the pizza chef and he is absolutely fantastic!!!

Great atmosphere and wonderful service. The wine we had is top rate. We've gone there twice this week now and will be back again before leaving for home.
Haven't tried the food yet but it looked and smelled fantastic!
We will return every time we're in Sandpoint. Still considering joining the wine club as the reds there are really just that good.....!!

Once every year or two, I win a bottle from my favorite radio station, KPND. I take the hour and a half on a nice summer weekend day to ride the motorcycle up to Sandpoint to have lunch, pick up the bottle, and buy the wine of the month if I like it. The place is great, the wine is good, and so is the food.

Today I had a cheese and meet platter with a toasted baguette. A wonderful meal with great flavors and plenty of food. It also had a pickled stuff salad with the tiniest forks you've seen, even smaller than shrimp forks. It made me laugh, I asked the manager about it, and she said they

A great local winery with really good wine. Live entertainment, and good nibbles are more. They're expanding the menu and I can't wait to see what's on it.

Wonderful experience at the winery here in Sand Point. Solid selection of Washington sourced wines and generous tasting menu in a renovated brick building.

My wife loved the different reds on offer, especially the Reserve Cab and Reserve Syrah. I really liked the Cabernet Franc and Louvre Red. Coming from Texas 'wine country' we were both very pleased with the quality on display from a climate well suited to growing grapes. Even though we are on vacation we still picked up bottles and I wish they would ship us some of the rustic-industrial bar furniture. Barrel stave backed bar

We have been here twice, and both times we really enjoyed our visits. They have a robust wine list, including a few wines that are "on tap" for you to enjoy by the glass or carafe. Every wine we've tried (although we didn't try any sweet ones) has been high quality, and very reasonably priced. They also do a monthly special that rotates for different wines.

The building itself is large and in a well-maintained historic building. It is a comfortable setting. We've encountered live music once before, and that was a nice treat. The small bites menu is limited, but still

Serious applause for Pend d'Oreille Winery. I don't want to sound like I'm knocking Sandpoint, but I never expected to find a place as cool as Pend d'Oreille Winery when I visited. Not only does this place have fantastic wine and food, but they absolutely nail the atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I went here with his parents and sister on the 4th of July and appropriately celebrated our nation's independence with some reds and whites (maybe could have ordered some bleu cheese just to hit the theme home). We got food to share - all was great - and the wines were all wonderful
