Since 1976, Badger Gymnastics Academy (BGA) has two locations and offers a wide variety of gymnastics and tumbling classes for students of all ages and abilities. Jessie Carlson, the owner of BGA, has been a fixture at the gym since she was a child. Her father, Joel Alberti, was the original Program Director of Badger Gymnastics Academy when BGA first opened more than 30 years ago.
Being on the BGA Team has been a wonderful experience for our girls. Beyond the skills and physical growth, they have also learned to feel comfortable to challenge themselves and that it is OK to make mistakes.

If you are looking for a quick and easy way to host a birthday party in Madison or Waunakee? Badger Birthday Parties are just the ticket! Being on the BGA Team has been a wonderful experience for our girls. Beyond the skills and physical growth, they have also learned to feel comfortable to challenge themselves and that it is OK to make mistakes.
Whether you are looking for a safe, fun place for a play-date, or want to improve your skills as gymnast, cheerleader, dancer, martial artist, or free-runner, we have the open gym designed specifically for you! Ages 1-100 are welcome and encouraged to join us at your nearest Badger Gymnastics Academy for the most affordable and accommodating open gyms in Dane County.
At Badger Gymnastics, we pride ourselves on being current with todays technology. Our online registration makes it very easy for you to register when it is convenient for you. Please note that upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email. If you need to make changes to your registration, you must do so BEFORE the session begins.
Our goal at BGA is for each client to feel that they are a part of the larger Badger Gymnastics family. We offer inclusive programs for all ages and abilities. At Badger, we teach gymnastics in a way that is fun and goal-oriented. We believe that the benefits of learning gymnastics include improvements in coordination, body awareness, and most importantly self-confidence.

We were very pleased with how well the staff got to know our child in just one season. Other sports or organizations proved to be a struggle to extract feedback out of. John was able to identify our child quickly despite not directly coaching the team and recite the notes and progress that was passed on to him. A real different experience that has us signed up for another season.

I have 2 sons who have had classes in the last year; older son started taking classes about 2-3 years ago. Older son has grown from tumbleweeds to boys skills, younger son is currently in tumbleweeds. We've done a session or two a year (so not straight for all the years). My older son especially has enjoyed the classes.
Classes are good size, good variety of skills, and keep interest and attention. Children get good work out. We used to go to a different gym: I prefer Badger's class management, skill progression/diversity, scheduling, and pricing.
