We want you to have the best experience possible so we have addressed all the most common questions here, from how to prepare to what to do if you have a special event coming up, or if you are pregnant, on your period, etc. Please review this information fully before scheduling an appointment. NOTE: Rest assured - We uphold the highest level of sanitation.
During the first 24-48 hours after waxing your skin may be tender and swollen. Keep it clean, but do not over wash, and keep it protected with virgin coconut oil or Finipil lotion. Avoid excessive heat for 24-48 hours after your waxing service (tanning, saunas, hot baths, exercise, etc.) Avoid swimming and wear loose clothing for a day or so.
Any changes to appointments must be made by 6:00PM the day before the appointment to avoid a late notice fee. At Bare Bear Waxing, we are committed to providing all of our guests with exceptional service. Since we reserve time especially for you, please give as much notice as possible to cancel, change, or reschedule your appointment.

Had my first appointment with Beth today at Bare Bear Waxing. The facility was clean and inviting. Beth greeted me at the door and escorted me inside. Her room was spacious for a waxing room and it felt comfortable and inviting. She quickly got to work on my waxing needs. She was super efficient and fast! I was in and out in 30 minutes and loved my results. I scheduled my follow up for 4 weeks out while I was still there. They offer more flexible hours than I'm accustomed too. Their pricing is super comparable to other waxing studios I've visited. Overall great experience!

10/10 will be back again. It was my first time getting waxed in a long time and Peggy was great!! We talked and was able to distract me from what was going on, which totally helped. She was fast and efficient. Very clean and friendly environment. And I love the finished product. I have a new self-care routine. ps - thanks for being vegan-friendly!!

I got my first waxing service here and the service was great!! I met with Peggy and she was very careful and explained everything she was doing. She also gave me an after care goodie bag. She keeps a good conversation going which makes the time goes by fast. I just had my 2nd appointment yesterday and already booked my next one! I truly recommend this place, very professional!

At many places they send you out the door with leftover stickiness not here...I left not sticky and with a goody bag.
I made an appointment online and came in at my scheduled time. There was no wait. I was offered water and a chance to use the restroom before starting.
Also the least painful waxing experience I've ever had. Definitely going back!

My first appointment with Corrine at Bare Bear was a success! She is fantastic at making the client feel comfortable and at ease, as well as extremely efficient. This appointment took about half as long as my previous waxing experiences with other professionals and the results are perfect. It was honestly my least painful waxing experience. Completely "bearable"; as close to painless as one could expect. She explained the product, process, gave me lots of options and checked in throughout to see if I was getting the result I wanted, and even sent me home with aftercare. A professional

I love this place! I go to Corrine and she's extremely professional, she makes you feel comfortable in an otherwise painful procedure, and she's extremely nice. I never have an issue getting an appointment when I need and they are one of the quickest waxing places I've been to. Nobody likes to get waxed lol but it's quick and the least painful waxing I've had. The prices are very reasonable and even a little less than other comparable places. The shop is cute too and very clean! You can use your card on file and do everything on the iPad they have. I highly recommend this

Safe to say I'm obsessed with this place. First of all, the price points for each service are reasonable to begin with, not to mention their $10 and $20 dollar discounts for new clients. (Sign up for emails!) Another thing I really liked about Bare Bear is that nobody tried to upsell me. The salon offers products that you can purchase, but it is totally stress-free and not at all forced.

Just saw Corinne for my first waxing experience ever and I am SO GLAD to have found her! I was really nervous and a little bit scared as I've never done this before, but she immediately put me at ease and felt like an old friend. Not nearly as painful as I had expected, and I had such a great experience that I have already booked my next appointment!

OMG- I've been getting Brazilian waxes for a very long time & Peggy is the best in the business!!! THIS PLACE IS MY FAVORITE PLACE I'VE EVER BEEN!!! They even gave me a sweet gift baggie and pretty purple pens and organic candy! Not to mention the big discounts!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Also she's magical because it hardly hurt AT ALL!!! This place is amazing! After reading several reviews for other establishments I chose this place. I chose right. So welcoming and friendly. They explain everything to you before, during, and after for the best possible care and experience. I was nervous about the pain factor but it wasn't an issue. First time doing a wax and it will not be my last, as long as my lady stays on board. You will not be disappointed with anyone there I'm sure. They give good conversation as if you've known each other for some months haha!! Everything went perfect. My daughter wants to go but you have to be 18 years

It's taken me a long time to write this because although I had a good visit, it wasn't the absolute best. First off, Ashley is adorable and scheduling an appointment with her is super easy. Now that she's moved over to Vagaro, I know it's even easier. I've used Vagaro with my usual esthetician back in Chicago.
My only two gripes are 1) recommending Valerian root or kava kava as pre-waxing prep to help reduce pain and 2) during the actual waxing procedure, Ashley pulled, her grip slipped, and didn't finish the wax a few times causing me just a wee bit of extra pain

I see Peggy for my waxing needs and she is AMAZING! She's always so friendly and has the best stories. Conversation always flows freely and there's a ton of laughs. The appointment flies by and before I know it we're done. There's no excessive or unnecessary pain. She's meticulous and pays attention to her work. I see her every 4 weeks and will continue to do so while I'm here in OK.

Ashley is the best and most consistent at waxing my eyebrows. They look fabulous and I could have never done it without her! She also waxes my face and is very thorough and takes her time to make sure every hair is gone. I love her studio and how easy appointments are to book. If you are in need of hair removal, book with her! You will not be disappointed.

I was very excited for my appointment today. I do not live in Oklahoma (visiting a few days from NYC). 53 minutes before (she gave me the exact amount of time!) the waxer Ashley sent me a text asking me to reschedule my appointment because she had a family dinner she had to cook for. This wouldn't be an issue if we didn't just travel an hour to get to her and purchase the yelp deal. This is after I left Ashley a message earlier today asking her if she was open because of snow.
