Let me begin by saying that this mechanic shop it's the antithesis of good costumer service. The greeting was substandard and shallow, the tall Caucasian male continuously asked me to give him his "space" and was very unpleasant. Not to mention the absurd response I was given once he diagnosed my car.

After a month of crazy rain, I woke up to something dragging under my car. I ran to this place since it's close to my work. They greeted me at my car before I even finished parking. My car was immediately taken in. There was just a loose part, but they fixed it in 5min. So grateful for these guys!!!

Well deserved 5 stars. My very detailed justification for 5 stars is as such...
Been a loyal Imperial Auto customer from 2005-2012 or so during the Mr Huang days - performed countless oil changes and 2 timing belt services (98 Acura Integra GSR, 2000 Honda CR-V), always superior experiences. I do know how to work on my own cars, so I can scrutinize the work of others to a decent degree of reason. Anyways, I end up moving to another part of town, get a new 2013 Acura TL, and lose touch with Imperial Auto.
Fast Fwd to now. First "real" service with this car comes up at 100K, this

Brought my car there to get my front bumper put on 2 days ago. First quote was a little over $600, which was a lot cheaper than other places in town, they said I will also get a rental. The day I decided to use them, the price went up to over $800. They said I needed more stuff on it. The day I bring it in. They charged me for the rental. Something they didn't mention at first. When I returned the rental to pick up my car, they said I had to pay for nutts and bolts they had to order from the dealership. Not only did they milk me. They didn't do a good job at all. Finally, I find an auto repair shop that I can totally trust them to fix my car without wondering
being ripped off. Manager Jack tried his best to fix my car with the least expensive way.
He called many part stores around on Saturday trying to locate the part I need, so I can

I been going here for years for most of my basic needs. Talked to the owners personally and they are honest and give you a fair price quote. Service is fast and work is performed promptly. Just make sure to order oem parts on your vehicle. Cost is a little more but saves you headaches on the long run. Especially European imports. I have better luck with those parts. They tend to go out of there way to help you and offer advices. That's hard to come by with a lot of the auto repair shop at around.

This is the only place my husband and I go since three years ago. Their owner mr huang is very nice. And students always get special discount. Their service is very good too, as they use good quality parts. Now they have new owners, but still continue the old style of goodness. A very reliable auto repair place to go!

Took my car here to get my cv axle replaced. It was a relatively cheap compared to NTB. Imperial total charge was around $160 while NTB charges at least $500 and that is without labor cost. The mechanic drive the car in the parking lot and knew exactly whatvwas wrong with it. And to my suprise they even had another mechanic to check it the 2nd time around to confirm that it was the problem. Car was in and out. They did such a great job I came back and got my suspension replaced. Jack and Mr. Huang are nice, helpful and very friendly people. Car drives like a charm now.
