Augustine, Iliamna, and Redoubt- three of the volcanoes visible from this property. The spectacular view from the bluff overlooks the waters of Cook Inlet across to the snow-capped Aleutian Range. The park is ideally located as your "basecamp" for adventure on the Kenai Peninsula, with Homer 20 minutes south and Kenai River 1 hour north.

We are right in the middle of amazing scenery, abundant wildlife, and fantastic fishing. For the convenience of our guests there is a separate Laundry and Shower facility located next to the office.

Phenomenal views & excellent service.
Had such a fun time fishing down on the shore.
We couldn't get our furnace to work, so Jim from the office came to see if he could figure it out. Still no luck with the furnace, but Jim let us borrow a small space heater. Very grateful. Also kept us from having to cut out trip short.
We'll definitely be back for another stay.

Best possible view of whiskey gulch and state camp ground. nice cabin. new owners that are nice and friendly. cabin is well equipped, but I would recommend bringing your own towel, and I you want a hot shower your best to go to the shower house. cabin shower is like warm. there is a heater and a cook stove, but no propane. we were able to heat our items elsewhere.

Fantastic location in Homer for enough space to allow the kids to have a blast by the camper. The camp hosts are phenomenal and genuinely care about your camping experience. They sent us a hand written Christmas card after only spending a couple days there back over the 4th of July. That kind of customer service is rare to see anymore. Will be going back this summer for sure!
