It is absolutely worth checking with Marcella at 1st Rate Insurance in Kirkland when you are ready to shop for new insurance.
We're all constantly bombarded with advertising and direct mailings "I saved 15% or more with..." and I my current insurance didn't seem to want to work with me on pricing.
I had never gone through an independent broker before and always figured I'd be getting a worse deal than dealing direct, since they've got to get a cut, right? I saw ads where some 3rd party would take my info and shop for me, but that seemed extra sketchy and I wanted to deal with a real person, so

We have worked with First Rate Insurance for almost 20 years for our homeowners and auto policies and our experience has always been top notch. I received notification that my current Auto and Homeowners insurance policies were being increased by 55% and 27% respectively. I contacted the First Insurance office and within an hour Marcella responded with vastly improved quotes from an alternative insurer which also gave me increased benefits.
I received outstanding service from Marcella and she explained to me in a concise, professional manner the benefits and value that I would receive by switching to an alternative insurer. Once I had agreed to the new proposal it was less than 2 hours later that I received and signed the new insurance

However, today has stood out. I needed condo insurance and I worked with Marcella Fitzhugh to get the best bundle deal for my money and she went above and beyond for me. Her years of working in the industry definitely stand out compared to previous agents I have worked with at First Rate. Marcella F. is A M A Z I N G ! She was able to search all Ins Co of every kind and found us a $250 a month savings. She took the place of the other Rep I was working with and she was able to jump right in and continued as if I was working with her from the get go. I call at least twice a year in search of a better deal, as I had a very unfortunate bad year 2 years ago. First Rate has never disappointed me.
