This is personal checking the way it should be: free and easy! There are no fees, no necessary qualifications, and every free checking account comes with a debit card. And, when we say these checking accounts are free, we mean it! Our members even have no-fee access to over 30,000+ ATMs across the nation.
We believe in helping our community and because of that, we are proud to offer free New Beginnings checking accounts. Sometimes referred to as second-chance checking or checking accounts for bad credit, these checking accounts are specifically designed to help our community members with a history of bounced checks, unpaid fees, or account closures which has negatively impacted their banking histories.
Starting at age 15, young adults are eligible to open a young adult checking account, if a parent is a member of our credit union. There is no minimum account balance and, if approved by the parent, a debit card may be issued. Don't worry if you're new to banking as a young adult. We offer financial counseling on-site to help you learn the basics of managing your finances.

As of ten years ago I did business with two additional banks .Having the CU meet all my needs and expectations with minimum charges ,the CU is my only banking facility.
