After a year of being closed to indoor performance, we are delighted to announce that this summer we will reopen our indoor venue with My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra, a revue show conceived by David Grapes and Todd Olson and book by Todd Olson.

With a small cast of virtuoso performers, an incredible live jazz band, and an intimate (but socially-distanced) jazz club environment you will not want to miss this vivacious return to live theatre in true Centre Stage style. We are also thrilled to announce the kickoff of our full 2021-2022 Season this September complete with shows previously postponed as well as some new titles!
The Metropolitan Arts Council (MAC) is the only organization in Greenville, South Carolina working daily to support every discipline of the arts.

MAC provides support to area arts organizations and many individual artists through its grants program, through its cultural planning process, by advocating on behalf of all artists and arts groups, and by providing cooperative marketing opportunities prompting arts groups that might not have resources available to them.Through a partnership with MAC, Centre Stage brings you the work of several local artists each season.
For the last decade and a half, Centre Stage has counted it a privilege to celebrate works from far and wide as part of our New Play Festival. It has always been the goal of the festival to promote nationwide new work development and encourage a broad range of regional perspectives to participate. Now, for the third year in a row, we turn our attention to local playwrights, honoring artists from right here at home!
Centre Stage's brand new Annual Young Artists Showcase and Professional Development Program. To be selected for the showcase, students were recommended by a South Carolina educator, prepared an audition, and submitted a headshot and resume to Centre Stage as they would in a professional setting.

All students who participate in the showcase have the opportunity to be considered for an internship at Centre Stage and further professional development opportunities.Consideration for acceptance into our year-round Internship Program includes an interview with the Centre Stage Artistic and Production staff as well as a review of any additional portfolio materials to be supplied by the student.

Went for annual New Play Festival. Wonderfully run small theater with great productions, just coming back after a Covid-19 hiatus and worthy of community support.

We were fortunate to snag tickets for "The Million Dollar Quartet" at Centre Stage, in Greenville, SC. One of many times, but this time was mind-blowing.!! Of all the events I have attended here, this is/was by far the very best. !! If you ever get the chance to see it at Centre Stage, with the original cast, make it a point to go. You will not be disappointed.!!

Amazing performances. Love the seating. Hardly a bad seat in the house! A bottle of wine only costs $20, and you can bring it to your seat! This is the best deal in town! Highly recommend seeing a show here! Recently saw Little Shop of Horrors and it was incredible! Well cast and great set! I also really enjoyed seeing Into the Woods here a few months ago. Great spot!

Rockabilly Heaven was terrific! Our neighbors purchased us tickets. The band, singing, staging, and choreography blew us all away. Watching the cast interact with each other and cheer each other on really made the show fun. One of my favorite nights at a theatre in a very long time!

I love the intimacy of this theatre! There doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the whole house. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and seemed like they were genuinely glad we were there. And the play itself was fantastic! We saw Red Herring and I loved everything about it--the story, the set, the lighting, the costumes, and especially the acting hooked me immediately and had me engaged from curtain to curtain, laughing the entire time. Bravo!! Can't wait to go back!
