Through careful DFM and planning, we often win work back from China while providing a higher quality product with faster turnaround times. At Chamberlain, we work closely with our customers to best support their needs. In many cases, machining is just one step in the process of completing an assembly. Many of our customers need a higher level of assembly and Chamberlain is up to the task. We take manufactured and purchased components and integrate them into a final assembly in our assembly and test department.
At Chamberlain, we are not simply a machine shop. We handle many tasks from managing customer inventory, outsourcing complex processes such as heat treating, and plating along with all of our internal business activities. To manage all of our internal and external needs, we employ the latest in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
At Chamberlain, we listen to our customers. Many machine shops require customers to supply materials prior to the machining process. Often, customers are simply not experts in working with foundries, extruders and mills and subtle details are easily overlooked. We have developed a Global supply chain to competitively source the best possible material solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
It simply doesn't make sense to perform certain processes in-house. With over 70 years in business we have developed relationships with some of the best subcontractors available. When it comes to such processes as heat treating, plating or non-destructive testing, to name a few, you can rest assured that our vendors are fully qualified to meet the high standards required.
